Multiculturalism, the notion that all cultural norms and practices are equally valid, was popular in the latter half of the twentieth century. Rather than assimilating immigrants into the broader culture, Western nations, suffering from imperial guilt, allowed immigrant groups to form sclerotic pseudo-societies separate from the rest of the population. In Europe, parallel societies have formed which are comprised of Islamic fundamentalists opposed to essential human rights for women. In certain parts of America, Latin American immigrants have become opaque seas of petty lawlessness where the English language is unknown and where interracial comity is an illusion.

In Europe, the tide is finally turning against this nonsense. Switzerland has outlawed new minarets. The Netherlands now demands all new immigrants speak Dutch. Germany’s Prime Minister, Angela Merkel, has flatly rejected multiculturalism as a failed experiment. In France, the burqa has been banned on the proposition that a woman cannot be seen as an equal in a society where she cannot even show her face...

GOV is an invaluable resource in educating the public about this subject. New Labor destroyed Great Britain with their immigration policies, which the people there staunchly opposed.

This is another reason we need to shut down the Immigration Industry. It is not good for the nation receiving the migrants. It is being USED as a way to gain control of and even destroy the host nation. Immigration is being used for evil, and not good...

The way the system is currently structured, I think you're correct.

The only "multiculturalism" I can tolerate is the African-American part (because we drug their ancestors here against their wills) and the Native American/Hawaaiian/Alaskan parts (because we took over their land), and the regional differences between Yankee and Southerner, Midwestern and CA surfer dudes, etc. Hispanic culture, however is the culture of our old political rival-the old Spanish Empire-and many Hispanics wish to FORCE their culture and and language upon the entire U.S. as revenge for what was done hundreds of years ago to one of their nations. Any foreign-born multiculturalism must GO!!!!

England teaches us a valuable lesson. When we let the political elite dictate what our country is going to be, we give up on what made this nation great. We can't trust politicians to defend this country; they are only interested in protecting their political interests.
