Our country is strong not exclusively because of the second amendment but because of the undying belief in and the iron WILL to use the first and second amendments to defend our freedoms at all cost. The axis powers recognized this and knew that any invasion and subsequent attempt to subdue and disarm the "American population" would be suicidal and doomed to failure. I say "American population" because federal forces would be unnecessary in such a scenario and would serve to only HASTEN the defeat of any invader.

The beauty of the Tea Party is that it is truly a grass roots movement made up of people everywhere, highly and deliberately decentralized by design. That which is everywhere cannot be defeated. Collectively, we make up the largest armed militia in the world.
