Emma invited her to live in a church.

A bit of a departure from the story Emma and Slim tell isn't it?

According to their version, Elvira showed up on their doorstep pleading for sanctuary on the day she was supposed to report for deportation.

So now it is supposedly Emma who invited....and encouraged.....her to flee from authorities?

Still reading....but, it's the strangest thing.......my eyes are beginning to burn and I suddenly feel sick :P

In front of the cameras she was on a hunger strike. Behind the scenes she was gulping down tacos.
