Finally - folks are doing what I have been preaching for years - Watch what the opposition uses that is *successful* and then turn it around and use it against them.

The problem in doing the protest marches is that OUR side fails to see what they have to LOSE - our opposition sees what they have to GAIN and that drives them to MARCH EN MASSE. They don't concern themselves with jobs and other things OUR side has to deal with so they are free to go off and march on WDC or any other city or location.

The recent MinuteMan events has pointed out the fact that many retired folks can go and they can spend their time - and it also PROVED the SUCCESS of such activity. We need more retired folks to do the job that Bush & Co refuse to do..... Bush has sent our young men and women out of the country leaving the very young and old to defend America. Well, in WWII women took up the slack in our factories - it is the same thing now but we need the retired folks to stand guard at our borders. Many of them have motor homes and the time and money to be able to do this. Simply BEING THERE is a deterrent in most cases as we saw in the MMP. Granted, the ANTI-LAW folks are getting bolder and more violent (Baldwin Park - Garden Grove and others) so we need to prepare for that violence and protect ourselves but that is NOT an impossibility - except for Bush & Co.

Good News from FARMINGVILLE, NY
We have a smashing development in the fight against illegal immigration. The town of Farmingville in Long Island New York was invaded several years ago by thousands of illegal alien day laborers. They stand on street corners by the hundreds every day waiting for work.

The champions in that town of 15,000 (Greater Farmingville Community Association) stand on the same corner every Saturday - rain, snow or shine- with American flags and signs protesting against the illegals. Many homeowners rent safe houses for them - 40-50 men in a house.

Now officials in Suffolk County have started to show their support of the courageous, persistent townsfolk. It started with Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy. It continues with Joe Caracappa, Presiding Officer of Suffolk County Legislature, and Jim Tullo, Councilman of the 4th District of the town of Brookhaven. On June 2 the police conducted a sting operation of contractors hiring illegals (NBC-TV covered the story).

And they have identified 117 illegal safe houses, and are going after the landlords Believe it or not, the police were threatened by some of them!.

Steve Levy is a true hero for what hes trying to do. Ive said this before, but when he 1st won the election I was like "Oh great, another sell out" but now im 100% behind him.

The problem is that the PBA does not want County Police officers doing raids and asking about immigration status because it would hurt relations between the PD and the minority community. Another issue is that the town code enforcement and public safety officers will often look the other way regarding overcrowded houses and other violations of the town code.
