Eric Trump on Early Turnout: 'We're Beating 2012 Numbers By a Landslide'

    Friday, October 28, 2016 04:53 PM
    By: Cathy Burke

Donald Trump is seeing "landslide" voter participation in some crucial early voting states – and is confident the ballots will be for the GOP nominee, son Eric Trump told Newsmax TV.

In an interview Friday with host Joe Pagliarulo on "The Joe Pags Show," the younger Trump lauded the enthusiasm of supporters across the country for the GOP standard-bearer in states that've already begun to cast their ballots.

"I'm in Nevada right now and we're certainly seeing that here," he said. "The numbers are great. North Carolina the same thing. Florida. Our numbers are awesome in Florida. They're really, really awesome."

"By every metric we're beating the 2012 numbers by a landslide," he said. "We're really, really doing phenomenal."

The younger Trump said the voting numbers are a testament to his father's message.

"People are coming out who have never voted before," he said. "People are coming out who thought that … under most traditional candidates they wouldn’t have a voice no matter who won. Democrats, Republicans they wouldn't have a voice. They were going to stay at home and they're coming out."

"Honestly, every state and it's such a great testament," he said. "It's not one of those things that the mainstream media likes to report which is kind of really sad."

It's such a shame the CORRUPT MEDIA has played sides in this election, a public tragedy really, because the real story of Trump, his projects, his life, accomplishments, visions, track record, feelings, attitudes, philosophy, tenaciousness, graciousness, complexity, architecture, engineering, beauty, functionality, economic impact, amelioration, it's such a beautiful and amazing story that the people of this country were entitled to know. Unfortunately, most may never know it. After the election and during his Presidency, the media will be battling him on his changes and policy, so it's entirely probable that what the people should have learned through fair campaign coverage, they'll never know now and without knowing it, they can't appreciate it.

A CORRUPT MEDIA is in fact the greatest threat to our Republic, even when we overcome it with votes, because we never overcome the lack of positive information they had but never reported.

Even the elite media, specifically NPR, is misleading people. I just heard a radio program where an economist was talking about Free Trade, and simply measuring the economic effects---so they were wondering why any politician would be against NAFTA or the TPP.
    According to them free trade:
    1. Lifted the impoverished nations like China, while providing a market for our goods, too
    2. Created more total wealth for the US, even if many jobs were eliminated
    3. Is only used as a political football by those who don't really understand, particularly by Trump, and seizes upon peoples' fear of change.

Sheesh, where does one begin? I'm not saying there isn't validity. But OTOH there are entire issue of politics, military security, national pride, and just the plain fact that change in itself is stressful to many people. They acknowledged that some people were severely impacted, but the benefits were much greater....although Americans would have lots of sympathy for the individuals impacted.

This ignores the entire system of political economy and the sense of community, predictability and national spirit that we as a country have enjoyed. It's a shame that this kind of thing passes as the epitome of thinking and that millions of people could be swayed by this.

They lied at NPR about "free trade". There is one measurement to determine whether or not our trade policies are beneficial to our country and that is the US trade statistics. When trade policy is good for the USA, we have either balanced trade or surplus trade. When we have trade deficits, it means the trade policy is sucking money, jobs, investment, technology and proprietary information out of the United States. Measuring trade policy is actually one of the easiest things in the world to do, it's as easy as determining who won a baseball game, it's all in the statistics. We have a $759 million trade DEFICIT last year in manufactured goods. We've had increasing deficits for many years. That's why we're $20 trillion in debt and have 94 million Americans out of the work force.

Please, even for someone like me that has already voted for Trump ....... this is a bit much. IMO, all of this hyperbole diminishes Trump more than it builds him up because we, as informed voters, know he is far from the perfect little darling that you're portraying him to be. We all have our reasons for voting for Trump but making him out to be a pedestal of grandeur is just nonsense.

I don't think anyone is portraying Trump as a perfect little darling. However, I think if you compare the things Judy mentioned in her post about Trump to Evil Queen Killery or the current demonic occupant of the White House, most people would find Trump is far superior to either of them. I mean really, besides getting elected, what the hell has Killery accomplished that has benefited the American people?
