Donald Trump is seeing "landslide" voter participation in some crucial early voting states – and is confident the ballots will be for the GOP nominee, son Eric Trump told Newsmax TV.

In an interview Friday with host Joe Pagliarulo on "The Joe Pags Show," the younger Trump lauded the enthusiasm of supporters across the country for the GOP standard-bearer in states that've already begun to cast their ballots.

"I'm in Nevada right now and we're certainly seeing that here," he said. "The numbers are great. North Carolina the same thing. Florida. Our numbers are awesome in Florida. They're really, really awesome."

"By every metric we're beating the 2012 numbers by a landslide," he said. "We're really, really doing phenomenal."

The younger Trump said the voting numbers are a testament to his father's message.

"People are coming out who have never voted before," he said. "People are coming out who thought that … under most traditional candidates they wouldn’t have a voice no matter who won. Democrats, Republicans they wouldn't have a voice. They were going to stay at home and they're coming out."

"Honestly, every state and it's such a great testament," he said. "It's not one of those things that the mainstream media likes to report which is kind of really sad."
