    Fast Info Gathering help needed for absolut boycott

    Friends,

    We are working on the new boycott website and we need help.

    One, we need a list of all absolut products by name.

    Two, we need a collection of pictures, videos, articles, protest signs, etc... That convey the point that many Mexicans aspire to control the SW us again.

    Please post here

    I think it may be beneficial to get a list of all of Pernod Ricard's products as he has recently purchased the Absolut distillery.

    Can't seem to find a complete list of products for Absolut yet....still digging

    Vin & Sprit AB is a wholly owned entity of the government of Sweden.

    V&S Group is divided into three main areas:

    * V&S Absolut Spirits handles Absolut Vodka and the other international spirits brands, such as Level Vodka, Frïs Vodka, Plymouth Gin, and Cruzan Rum.
    * V&S Distillers handles spirits on the Northern and Central European markets.
    * V&S Wine handles wines and fortified wines in the Nordic region.

    Distribution in the Nordic area is primarily handled through the group's distribution centers in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. V&S Group is represented by the subsidiary V&S Norway in Norway, by V&S Eesti in Estonia, and by the company V&S Luksusowa Zielona Góra in Poland. In the United States, distribution is handled by Future Brands, of which the group owns a 49% share. In most other regions of the world, distribution is handled by Maxxium, also partly owned by the group.

    Geographically, North America is the group's single biggest market, accounting for 43% of total sales in 2007.

    Looks like Pernod Ricard SA of France is buying V&S. So we may also need to boycott the products that Pernod Ricard SA sell.

    Pernod Ricard owns a wide variety of beverage brands worldwide. These include:

    * Royal Salute (scotch whisky)
    * Chivas Regal (scotch whisky)
    * The Glenlivet (single malt scotch whisky)
    * Jameson Irish Whiskey
    * Seagram's gin
    * Pernod aux extraits d'absinthe
    * Wyborowa (vodka)
    * Ricard and 51 (pastis)
    * Martell (cognac)
    * Wild Turkey (bourbon)
    * Jacob's Creek (wine)
    * Pernod (anise-based spirit)
    * Zuco
    * Becherovka
    * DITA (lychee-based spirit)
    * Havana Club (rum).

    As of 26 July 2005, the brand portfolio expanded to include former Allied Domecq products:

    * Ballantine’s scotch;
    * Kahlúa coffee liqueur;
    * Malibu coconut-flavored rum;
    * Beefeater gin;
    * Tia Maria liqueur;
    * Stolichnaya vodka (distribution in the USA);
    * Mumm champagne;
    * Perrier-Jouët champagne.

    Lincolnshire, Illinois-based Fortune Brands acquired a number of former Allied Domecq brands from Pernod Ricard following Pernod Ricard’s acquisition of Allied Domecq. These include:

    * Sauza tequila;
    * Courvoisier cognac;
    * Canadian Club whisky;
    * Clos du Bois;
    * Other Sonoma and Napa wine brands;
    * Laphroaig malt whisky;
    * Teacher’s Scotch whisky;
    * Cockburn's port;
    * Harveys sherries;
    * Larios gin;
    * DYC whisky;
    * Fundador Spanish brandy;
    * Centenario Spanish brandy;
    * Kuemmerling German bitters.

    Fortune Brands’ agreement with Pernod Ricard also includes the purchase of the Maker’s Mark bourbon brand, which remains subject to regulatory clearance in the United States. While the U.S. Federal Trade Commission conducts its review, Maker’s Mark will be owned and managed by Pernod Ricard and Pernod Ricard will receive the earnings from the brand. Fortune Brands will be compensated with interest payments pending transfer of the brand.

    Let's not forget the two funny guys who created this insult, Grupo Gallegos with Creative Director Favio Ucedo, and President and CEO John Gallegos.

    Neil Cavutto just reported on this and had on the show..it was a great segment, did anyone else see it? I think Neil was shocked at the gall.

    They said this just insites illegals and the special interest groups like LaRaza and LULAC who believe they have a right to the So. West.

    They are calling for a boycott and the fireing of the person who did this in Sweden...Mexico is pissed about the boycott I have a feeling this thing is going to grow by leaps and bounds.
