FCC rule to drive Rush Limbaugh off the radio
This came via email. I'm not a big fan of Rush, but if they start taking one talk radio show off they will start in on the rest.
This Memorial Day weekend, please spend
a few minutes remembering those who
paid for our rights with their very lives.
One of the rights for which they died
was our First Amendment right to
criticize politicians.
Talk radio can make politicians heed
us regarding issues like amnesty for
illegal aliens. I am convinced that,
without talk radio and the Internet,
amnesty would have passed easily in 2006.
Yet fans of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Dr. James Dobson and other syndicated radio talk shows need to be aware of a proposed FCC regulation which would drive their favorite programs off the air.
In June, the FCC will end its review of its January "Notice of Proposed Rulemaking"
which, if ultimately adopted, would
impose a back-door version of the
discredited "Fairness Doctrine" upon
America's airwaves.
The FCC's proposed regulations claim
that radio station "programming -- particularly network programming - often is not sufficiently culturally diverse."
The FCC seeks "to ensure that broadcasters serve their communities, especially traditionally underserved audiences," such as non-English speakers, whether or not these people actually exist.
The FCC's proposed regulations also contain a new requirement that all "licensees should convene and consult with permanent advisory boards."
These advisory boards "should include
representatives of all segments of the
community."
Such a requirement would
empower self-appointed "community
leaders," such as representatives of
the League of United Latin American
Citizens (LULAC) or the Center for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), to discourage commercial radio stations from airing discussions of controversial matters such as the costs of illegal immigration or the meaning of jihad.
English First has established a web site, http://www.keeprushontheair.com, containing the relevant FCC documents and a citizen's petition to the FCC that I hope you will sign.
Thank you for your time.
Your comments or complaints are welcome.
E-mail them to me at

Are you kidding me??? The day that La Raza, Maldef, Lulac or any of those idiots start ruling our airwaves, is the day I leave America. It won't be OUR America anymore.
When we killed the amnesty bill last June, Dianne Feinstein was very angry and said something about bringing back the Fairness Doctrine. Guess she got her wish. The polititions don't like shows that shine the light on what they're doing. And, the pro-amnesty crowd doesn't like shows that talk about ILLEGAL immigration and the cost to Americans. They're trying to shut us up.avatar:*912 March in DC

Let's say that this did take effect.........................There are Latino and Hispanic and also African American and many other 1 ethnic programs and Radio Talk shows that would have to follow suit.
If not, this would be considered ETHNIC CLEANSING and RACISM at it 's finest, created by our own Government.------------------------

SERVE NON-ENGLISH SPEAKERS WHETHER THEY EXIST OR NOT--so citizens lose rights for people who may not exist. WHAT IDIOT WROTE THIS?
This is an attempt to move us from democracy and freedom of speech toward an apartheid-like socialist form of government.
Non-English speakers can learn English like numerous generations before them.
Political canidates are NOT given equal time in the press or FCC regulated programs like radio. Aired programing definately has a bias in favor of certain ones.
Political ads are bought and paid for.
SELF-APPOINTED COMMUNITY LEADERS--so-called self experts?
1. We need to make English the offical, national language. Senator Dole has a proposed bill to do just that.
2. LULAC and CAIR are discrimatory organizations promoting ethnic and religious agendas in the realm of the KKK and Nazi party.
3. CAIR represents religion and state (FCC) and religion are separated by the constitution.
4. If LULAC and CAIR want a radio voice, let them find sponsors and air their own programs. Radio programing is based on free enterprise and profits.
5. If CAIR (Islam) is given 'free' radio time then so must the Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Satanists, Cults, etc.
6. "These advisory boards "should include representatives of all segments of the community" so would these groups be given a voice

It is the absolute right of the state to supervise the formation of public opinion.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." — Joseph Goebbels"Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

Going after Rush and talk radio would be a big big mistake. Talk radio is bigger than ever. Many people have learned the msm, for the most part, has a slant (or agenda) of their own. People tend to listen or read their news from sources they mainly agree with or trust. If talk radio were attacked there would be a huge outcry from the public.
I, too, recall Feinst... saying they would have to do something about talk radio.
Have to watch this very very carefully because we know how sneaky she and her kind can be.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
