I have always said that we have to look at old law books and word meaning to understand...

I agree, including what "jurisdiction" means for citizenship purposes. Be great to find some old legal dictionaries saying it means "complete jurisdiction, not subject to any other sovereign power".

Next time yur' at the law Libary' read the oldest Tort law books you can find...Amazing!!!!
