Thread: Are the Feds now racists too?

Written by Ro Chambeau on Apr 20th, 2011 Big ICE/IRS bust of 15 Chuy’s restaurants today. We’ve heard over and over again how Arizona is the mecca of prejudice and bigotry because we want to end illegal immigration funnelled through our state. Oh, but it wasn’t the state that arrested the Chuy’s franchisees and their accountant and 40 suspected illegal aliens, it was the feds. So if the feds arrest them, are they racist too? Wingnuts, Fitz? Because, as the left likes to point out, anyone against illegal immigration is a racist non-humanitarian.

And of course there is myth number two that the illegal immigrants are paying taxes because they are working under assumed identities and their taxes are being withheld. Not so much:


“The three are accused of hiring illegal immigrants for the company’s kitchen operations and paying them under the table.â€
