Menopausal Abortion Of The AgJOBS Amendment

California’s Democratic Senator, Dianne Feinstein has decided to withdraw her revised AgJOBS amendment from the Farm Bill Extension Act of 2007.

Feinstein’s revised AgJOBS amnesty proposal would have rewarded more than 1.5 million illegal aliens along with their spouses and children with unwarranted amnesty and a variety of other benefits for their demonstrated contempt of U.S. laws. With spouses and an assortment of children, the grand total would have been pushing over 3 million given amnesty under the provisions of the AgJOBS amendment.

Senator Feinstein stated that after the DREAM Act was stoned to death in Congress and the Senate amnesty bill was burned at the stake in June, anything that smells even remotely like amnesty makes this country’s elected representatives more nervous than a dog shitting peach pits, and even the Democrats, who are normally numb between the ears when it comes to public opinion, are apt to take off like a scalded cat at the slightest mention of giving the illegal aliens anything more than a fast ride over the border. What industry? As for the benifits of cheap labor, I haven't seen any; the cost of living is very high and getting higher everyday.

American citizens (not consumers as we are refered to) have not benefited at all from the cheap labor.

I totally agree. Wasn't NAFTA and free trade supposed to make things very cheap? Every day things rise more and more. Food prices-among other things- have risen outrageously lately.
