Do you think these guys don’t like each other?

Manchester, N.H.— If you think things got a bit testy between John McCain and Mitt Romney during the ABC News debate here at St. Anselm College Saturday night, you didn’t see the half of it. After the debate, when top campaign aides and surrogates came to the Spin Room to tout their candidates’ performances, members of the Romney and McCain camps said the things their bosses might have been thinking but did not dare utter onstage.
McCain delivered “cheap shots,â€

Stop it McCain! The vast majority of Americans rejected YOUR bill because is WAS amnesty.

If they get to stay , its amnesty

No matter how many fines (will be waived)
How much they learn English (how many years to learn?)
no matter how many back taxes they pay(a fraction or waived)
That they must go to the back of the line (without going home)

Its still AMNESTY

Most people never looked past the talking points of comprehensive

McCain said they will have to pay taxs , Well, not exactly
They would have to learn English.....maybe (whos going to follow up and make sure they do?)

The fines in most cases all had waivers or crazy long periods to pay them

The enforcement parts were written to look good but in reality
were already mandated by other bills or under other provsions so they
actually offered us nothing in return

Remember , what they did offer was over time for enforcement and
but the amnesty would be immediately

Also don't forget the Z visa would allow illegals to stay here forever , not becoming citizens but entitled to all bennys and it was renewable forever

In my book it is amnesty. If I commit a crime, and pay a fine as restitution, I am still on the books as having committed a crime.

Reagan called it amnesty, didn't he? And he is apparently a God of some sort these days, (even though his immigration reform was key to the disastrous situation of today) so he must be right.

Actually Regan granted a real 100% amnesty

There were no fines or anything associated with his plan

Now McCain is also granting a real amnesty because they would get to stay and the penalty part is sketchy at best , a downright lie at worst

I heard the other day that the "back of the line" forms in whatever country they came from right behind the guy that applied to immigrate here legally 5 minutes ago

That’s always been just the point, there are a thousands definitions of comprehensive when it come from a politicians mouth.

We are having a hard enough time trying to get people
to actually look at politicans records or what they have said and
done , And they are running for president

How hard is it to get Joe and Jane 6 pack to actually understand
what was in that immigration bill

99% of the Senate didn't even read it before they voted

The only way we beat it is because all of our orgs worked together
for weeks to get the word out , along with talk radio and some
media people on cable like Dobbs

Well, the media does not want any anti-illegal candidates----not even Fox!!

Last night, they said that McCain won the debate!!! Do they think we are retards----he had NO good answers.

Last night and today----they are saying stuff like Romney is in trouble, due to the attacks!!

Yet, today, at least one of them said-----Romney's meeting areas for his supporters have been packed----so something he did last night is working!!!

Let's hope that the Independents---which there are a LOT in New Hampshire----bring McCain down!!!
