Instead of being silent when we receive these lectures, why don't we ask the Catholic Church, other religious voices, the corporations, Washington lawmakers, foreign leaders, the millionaires and billionaires to divest themselves of their wealth and opulence. These groups are asking the American people to give up their dreams, their jobs, their potential possibilities for accumulation of wealth and secure futures to accommodate millions of people that they must support and be second to in preference for jobs, education, assistance, etc.

From lofty perches, the loud voices who cry for amnesty fall on death ears to the majority of the American people. Help people elsewhere by demanding their own countries step up or face public shaming like American citizens must constantly endure. If we enforced our laws, denied birthright citizenship, and had voter representation on behalf of the American people, we would not have to hear from so many who have financial and personal self interests hidden behind words like "compassion, fairness, social justice."
