Former Federal Prosecutor Explains Why Dems Want Noncitizens To Vote

The New York City council approved a bill allowing “noncitizen residents” to vote in local elections.
This would include voting for Mayor.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced he has no plans to veto the measure.

The New York City Council on Thursday approved legislation that would expand voting rights to hundreds of thousands of legal noncitizens, allowing a once-disenfranchised segment of Big Apple taxpayers a chance to participate in the local democratic process.
The measure was easily approved by the City Council with the support of a number of advocacy groups, who say that New York’s legal permanent residents have the right to weigh in on who leads the city and how their tax dollars are spent.
If the bill is enacted and if it survives legal challenges, New York City would become the largest jurisdiction in the United States to allow noncitizen voting.
Noncitizens would remain barred from voting in state and federal elections.

Former Federal Prosecutor Andrew McCarthy explained why Democrats want noncitizens to vote in an interview with Fox News.
McCarthy said that Dems push for it because “they would like to solidify a permanent Democratic partisan majority.”

Allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections “suffocates liberty” by making governments larger and more powerful, National Review Institute senior fellow Andrew McCarthy told Fox News Digital.

“Progressive Democrats push for noncitizen voting because they would like to solidify a permanent Democratic partisan majority,” McCarthy, the former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said. “They reason that if they champion voting rights for aliens, then aliens will support them.
“Democrats are the party of government. If aliens are permitted to vote and do so in support of Democrats, the government will become larger, more intrusive and more redistributionist,” McCarthy added. “The bigger government becomes, the more it suffocates liberty and crowds out private investment — meaning funds would increasingly be allocated based on political favor rather than economic efficiency. That is how you kill a prosperous society.”
As McCarthy noted in a November editorial published in National Review, no New York City mayoral candidate has received 800,000 total votes since Rudy Giuliani in 1993. So, even if a fraction of those noncitizens eligible to vote did participate in local elections, that fraction could have significant electoral consequences.

They need to all be charged with Treason and put in prison. They are complicit in aiding foreign citizens to vote in our elections to overthrow our voting system to stay in power.


Treason is the crime of attacking a state authority to which one owes allegiance. This typically includes acts such as participating in a war against one's native country, attempting to overthrow its government, spying on its military, its diplomats, or its secret services for a hostile and foreign power, or attempting to kill its head of state. A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.
