Thread: Help me out people, Please educate me!

It seems that some of you members have been on here for quite a while.I am sure other web pages and other members of those pages have been on those web sites just as long or longer.Everyone writes down thier feelings on what they stand for or believe in, and this is a good thing.But I have been through these forums and websites before and we all get together to do something about the way the government has raised another tax, or they won't defend the southern borders, or easedropping on the internet.The list is endless. Point, "There is too much government involvement in our daily lives" . The government is everywhere we don't want it, and hardly ever where we do need it. So, with all these forums and all the websites and other groups representing all the causes we wish the government to change or do something about.With all the taxes we don't like and wish to stop or lower.Is there no one at all that can pull all these people into one voice and tell the politicians, "ENOUGH".The way I see it there is nothing wrong with our government, it is the people who administer our government, the politicians, who ignore us, tax us, use us to raise money for thier own ambitions,send our jobs to other countries, and the list goes on. Are there non among us that can unite all these websites and the people who use them to stand firm against a government going rogue? We are the strongest free nation on earth.With all the resources at our disposal, with all the financial power, with all the people we have that will stand and answer the call, should it ever come.Can we do nothing but piss and moan on a website, any website, or to our neighbors living next door? Can we do nothing that would restore our freedom and security to the rightful level our forefathers intended it to be? Have our forefathers fought and died to hand this great nation down through the generations to a nation of sheep to be sheard? We would rather fight to the death to save our cell phones, before we would ever sign a petition to secure our own borders from rapists, drug dealers and murderers.Now I ask again, I beg of you," can someone please educate me?" I could go on but I think the truth scares the hell out of people,and it should.We are not made of the strong moral fiber that our fathers were made of. Just as well for I believe no one will ever stand up to the government anyways, it's all just a waste of time. Wear your sparkly chains of slavery well America, you've earned them. I'm reminded of a quote from William Rusher, "Any nation that can put a man on the moon can abolish the Federal government.". As I see it we don't all agree. Most voters have only superficial knowledge of why they are voting yet their votes count as much as those who carefully research their votes.

I think I'm hearing you Big Mike. At least on a forum like this we can hop over to other topics and try to get updated on everything that's going on. Who has time to be well-informed enough to read between the lines? I think that if people fully realized how corrupt everything has become they would never get out of bed in the morning. As for moral fibre? I think that most of us have had our brains bent in small increments over time. In our current lifestyle morality is relative just as reality is. I don't personally agree with that but I see us living it everyday. When everybody starts getting road rash maybe they will recuperate some. Meanwhile, yes, I agree, while I love this forum, this way is not working very well for me or us as a nation. Welcome BigMike. Glad that you are here.

We the people have to do a better job in getting back control of our government. We have been away far too long, too many of us have not payed enough attention, we have been distracted by life, work and pleasures. Too few of us have stayed engaged, watching, observing, and trying to change things. More are getting involved, speaking out, and that is how we can try to change course before the destruction that is planned by those now in charge takes hold.

Well I don't own a cell phone and really don't want one, so that is not an issue for me. I have signed many petitions, joined boycotts, attended Tea Party rallies and held a rally in my nearest city against state sanctioned illegal immigration.

There are a lot of issues we have going on in this nation right now, and a lot of diverse groups attempting to do something about it, and it is much more than really ever before in our history since the American Revolution. This alone tells all of us that people are getting over themselves and their gadgets and obsessions with narcissistic Hollywood-ites, and seeing how we have too much big government where it does not belong, and that same government ignoring it's duties written out in the Constitution.

I suggest to you, to get involved in your local Tea Party group, and then here with us. Here are two things that cover some of our main issues in this nation, the seemingly endless invasion across borders, and excessive government, and government spending.

Beginning with this, and then you can do something local, making sure any business you deal with, contract with and buy from hires Americans over cheap illegal labor. Become highly vocal about this and remind people around you that hiring and dealing with companies that hire Americans, it is supporting Americans with families who have been hard hit not only by this current depression, but by the adverse affects of illegal immigration. When more and more people begin to push for Americans to answer their calls, clean their carpets, service their lawns and heating systems, build their homes and even simply take their food orders, they are fighting back.

Well at least I can look around and realize that I am not alone, and there are many people out there just like me.(Fed Up With Big Govt.) If I were alone then that would have meant that I was a kook, daffy, or mentally ill !! The next playmate for Charles Manson. So for now I will take solace in the fact that a movement has begun and people are just warming up to spank the boys and girls who are "the powers that be". I hope it happens soon though, I get a bit impatient at times. Thank you for responding everyone. It is good to be an AMERICAN!!! Mike

BigMike, you are in the right place to help fight this issue. I have been with ALIPAC since 2005, others much longer. In 2007 we, along with Numbers USA and a host of other grassroots groups fought against Bush's attempt to make illegal aliens citizens (and voters for the RINO bloc), we won that one and along the way other issues such as state by state fights for no licenses for illegal aliens, pushing the federal to cut off illegal aliens from state medical plans, and the list goes on.

It is not an easy, or short term fight, it will take time and a lot of public educating, but we have been gaining in strength, numbers and momentum.

Just the same with the Tea Party groups across this nation. They are fighting to take back our nation from career politicians who refuse to govern by the Constitution. They too know it is going to be a long fight, but well worth the long term effort.

Big Mike, I was once disconnected from what's going on. It was about 2006 that I began to sit up and take notice that something wasn't right about the direction our country was headed. I strongly suggest that you attend several Tea Party rallies and meet the people. I think you will find that they are just ordinary people just like you and you will begin to feel more empowered. Make no mistake about it, the Tea Party is real, it's huge, it's not going away and it won't be denied.

Why thank you TEXAS! While I have been a bit disconnected, I have always known that something was not JUST right. It was only in recent years that the internet let like people join together and for larger groups of people to protest the direction our government is taking us. I have no problem feeling empowered either, but it is hard to lead the charge for change when you are not affiliated with anyone else and you are the only one to show up at a rally !!! The ability to communicate over the internet, I believe, has been a force multiplier for the common citizen.Now his 1 voice can be heard among the multitudes of those who are all supporting the same idea.The government can ignore us, but not forever for our numbers are growing, gathering strength and momentum.
To AmericanElizabeth, no I never believed we would win our objectives in a short term fight. I agree with you that it is a fight that will not have instant results. For the people to win control of thier government is an ongoing investment in freedom, we must be forever vigilant. Also I live in the hills of southeast Ohio, cell phones don't work here! So I don't have a cell phone either !!lol
And as for a Tea Party event, Marietta is the closest thing we have to a town for quite a ways. I believe columbus held the nearest event and that is almost 3 hours away. There is not alot of people in our area so no one ever schedules any events around here. Oh well maybe some day! Michael
