Thread: FRIDAY NIGHT RELAX TIME , I NEED YOUR HELP

First off , I'm going to start working on a production show here in Vegas
I will want your opinion on a couple things.
First off this is my newest discovery.
This is a whole new genre IMO, it has basis in punk, glam and heavy metal
The singer sucks , I agree, but the band and theme is great, Also there are several other bands in this genre that have great singers, Visually though these guys are pretty good
The guitarist is awesome, even if he wears a dress

This is a really interesting deal I found
It utilizes the above band (gutarist) and the Pet Shop Boys , a band I feel is fantastic at doing the 80s style

Hazaki and the Pet shop boys do it.
Appreciate what they do , it is original

It will be as true to the original as I can make it , I will be handling the guitar

NO Steve , It is a Japanese form form called Kei , or Kie
It is a crossover to glam in a symphonic rock form , Crossdressing is huge in Japan , it is seen in forms like Henti, Lolita and Cosplay.
There are several other bands that use this form , Most are extreme in the detail and extremely good musicians.

In just about all cases the musicians are all male

Very intense
This band and Maiden were contemporaries , they were out at exactly the same time , Maiden made it and these guys didn't , except in the underground.

Over the Hills and far away is cool,
they remind me of these guys, remember the first time we saw this
