Thread: Funny thing happen yesterday.

Sunday, my wife was having her eyes checked. So I was out in the car, listen to the radio. Her eye Doctor is located next to a Wally-Mart. So this van with NC license on it pull up. All Spanish speaking, so they went in the Wally-Mart. I decide to go in. And what did I see. You know on the check out counters. Where the have a sign, with the American Flag and it says. United we Stand. Someone had placed a Chinese Flag on it. I guess to say that Wally-Mart gets all of it's stuff from China and not like it used to be all American.

I ran home to get the Camera and when i got back they had removed it. Darn it. I was going to send it to the papers.

For the longest I wanted to take a picture at a local wally-world here as well. In the customer service area there was a huge American flag, and written on it was "We buy American So you can buy American". and that was about a year mabey 2 ago.

It is a shame, that Sam Walton. Done a lot of good. used to you would go into a Wally-Mart and not find anything that wasn't American Made. Now that he has gone, and his kids have it. They are only buying Chinese.

Sam Walton in 1986 making a case in Little Rock, Ark., that buying American products could be the answer to the country's trade deficit. So true was this. He had the right ideal.

It is sad to go into Wally and have to dig to find American Made. I noticed most of theri clothes seem to be made in CAFTA countries....

If you something American made in wal-mart look for the pistachio nuts. cheers glenn
