    #1 Calle 18

    Calle 18 has the heaviest prevalence in Southern California and a membership of 75,00, and have been recognized in 120 US cities in over 37 states. They use the colors blue and black and tend to wear clothing representing the Dallas Cowboys, Losangeles Lakers and Oakland Raiders. They have a rap-sheet of an estimated 250 homicides, various counts of arson, illegal immigration, extortion, human trafficking, kidnapping, prostitution, weapons trafficking and copyright infringement.

    #2 Mara Salvatrucha
    Mara Salvatrucha is a giant, multi-faceted gang with a membership over 70,000 in nearly every US state. They are responsible for numerous crimes including drug trafficking, human trafficking, murder, extortion, arson, kidnapping, battery, illegal immigration and prostitution. They are connected to the Sinaloa Cartel and Los Zetas Cartel. The FBI has dedicated a task-force to the gang and has teamed up with countries like E Salvador and Honduras in an effort to combat the giant gang. They can be identified with by full body tattoos that bear Satanic symbolism or other forms of evil. They are also known as MS-13.

    The People Nation is an alliance of street gangs primarily in the Chicago area. Member gangs include the Vice Lords, Gaylords, Mickey Cobras and Almighty Saints. They are rivals to the Folk Lords. They identify with insignia or signs that are used on the left side of the body like left pant legs rolled up, throwing signs on the left shoulder, or earrings worn on the left.

    #4 Juggalos
    Juggalos are members of violent and non-violent groups of people who associate with the Insane Clown Posse or Psychopathic Records, a hip-hop label. Although most Juggalos are non-violent fans of horror core rap the group was classified by the FBI as a violent gang organization leading to a lawsuit by ICP which was later withdrawn. Juggalos have been accused and convicted of murder, arson, burglary, vandalism and drug trafficking.

    Barrio Azteca is a Mexican-American gang formed in the 80's in El Paso, TX. They are allied with the Juarez drug cartel and hold a membership of over 7,000. They are primarily allied with "La Linea", the armed faction of the Juarez Drug Cartel in an effort to combat the Sinaloa Drug Cartel for international trafficking routes. They are connected to multiple prison massacres and killings at the US consulate in Mexico, the first reported attack on US citizens in the Juarez drug war.

    The Hell's Angels are a motorcycle gang with a membership of about 2,500 primarily found in the Western United states. They are identified by the "dead-head" insignia or a 1% which signifies they are representative of 1% of the "bad" motorcycle clubs in the US. In 2007 they sued Disney for using the dead head insignia; the case was eventually dropped after Disney agreed not to use that insignia.

    The Bloods are primarily, but not exclusively African American and identified by the color red. They have factions all offer the US and are allied with the Nortenos and Juggalos gangs. The Bloods main enemy is the crips gang with whom they battle for territory over drug trade, typically in California.

    The Crips are primarily, but not exclusively an African American street gang with a membership of over 30,000 in multiple US states. Their main source of income is drug trade and they are extremely violent. They identify themselves with the color blue and British Knights tennis shoes. They are also known as the "bloodkillaz.

    The Latin Kings were formed in the 40's in Chicago and primarily focus on selling cocaine, heroin and other drugs. They have membership of over 30,000 in countries all over the world. On average, most of the members join by age 12-13 and will have a tattoo by 14.

    #10 Aryan Brotherhood
    The Aryan Brotherhood is primarily a prison gang but has membership of 20,000 in and out of incarceration. They are a white supremacist group, obviously, and were formed in the sixties to counteract the targeting of white prison members. On the outside they maintain an alliance with the Mexican Mafia and other cartels in efforts to smuggle methamphetamine across the border.
