Get the Left on Our Side - Make it an Environment Issue

Right now a lot of the Left comprises the "tree-huggers". We can get them on our side on this issue by making it about the environment.

I tried raising this tactic here before when I said it's a water rights issue. What I am getting at is America is over-crowded and cannot sustain the population we have.

See http://www.numbersusa.com/ for a starting point on this. Also http://www.susps.org/

America already does not have enough water for the people and animals who are here. Every additional illegal immigrant adds to that over-load. That over-load is destroying habitat and that endangers various species.

The argument is self-sustaining once the environmentalists get the idea. They will run with it and they are already organized.

    How about Health Care Issues?

Hey Lefties, what about Healt Care Issues? Good old Public Health.

Warning Mexican Flu Is Mexico going to be the death of US? Now you know where the Bird Flu is going to start!

Go to the Flu Map and select previous weeks. I find it odd that the warmer states have the most severe outbreaks of the flu. Shouldn't it be the colder ones? However, it's actually the warmer states along the border. Thanks for the Flu Mexico. It's pretty evident they gave it to the US. Flu infested people not going through immigration check points because entry would be rejected. What does the CDC have to say about that? I bet if you looked up other diseases you will find the same trend.

I've always been one who wants to see our forests and wildlife preserved. I sent emails to our elected officals last week about the impact of overpopulation(due to illegal immigration) on our enviroment. I don't know if I qualify as a "tree hugger" or not, but I am very concerned about what is happening. The government's already trying to sell off some of our national forest land and I totally disagree with that. And here in NC, we already have a water shortage and it's only getting worse since we have one of the highest growing illegal invader populations in the nation!

I hate seeing how they desecrate the desert! All the human waste, garbage they leave behind! Disgusting!

    Yup

The desert, the mountains, the cities, the barrio slums----it's all one environmental catastrophe after another. Not to mention the 12 million extra fecal deposits flushed into our overburdened sewage systems, by the 12 million housing units that gobble resources from the rest of us, and inflate the prices for everyone who is a legal resident!

The liberals' position on immigration makes no logical sense; it contradicts many of their existing policies. I was quite the liberal in my younger days and I know that the belief was that much of the environmental destruction was due to our First-World lifestyle. We in the developed countries (so they said) burn 'too many' fossil fuels and pollute the environment with disposable products and industrial waste, etc. The Third World countries were always held up as examples of people living simple lives, in harmony with Mother Nature, less wasteful, and so on. Of course we know that there is oversimplification there, but it is undoubtedly true that the millions of immigrants coming from the less developed countries to our country will add to the overcrowding, overconsumption, and environmental stress. I thought the idea was for people to live simpler, less wasteful lives; instead we seem to be bringing the underdeveloped world here and adding to the pollution, and hastening 'global warming' (if it exists).
There are plenty of liberal arguments that can be made against the illegal invasion; I've often tried to make the point that the illegals are taking resources away from our native-born poor, as well as driving wages down and taking benefits from native-born minorities, etc.
But all these arguments don't usually penetrate the liberals' thick heads; to them, if they see it as a racial issue, they will not listen to ANY arguments no matter how valid.

O/T, but I’d like to comment on your simple statement here. Liberals have historically championed the cause of American labor. They have abandoned the American worker on this issue. At least conservatives who support the importation of cheap labor are being consistent.

    Animal Lovers PETA

    We need PETA.

All those poor puppies taped under the seat of a car. https://www.alipac.us/ftopict-22589.html
    Oh man, that is bad.
Illegals are bad for puppies. I heard a local case, where a woman bought a puppy and it died, she went after the seller and they tracked the owner down. Yep, they were Mexico Puppies and they were smuggled. Pretty big problem, when pups go for $1,000. Puppy mills in Mexico.

    PETA!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Do Something!!!! http://www.peta.org/about/contact2.asp

I guess I am pessimistic. I don't think either side will help on this issue.

The so-called two parties have been one party for quite some time.

The Democrats have been openly pro-illegal for decades. The Republicans have been closet pro-illegals for just that long.

We need to vote them out - all of them. Don't think your guy is good - don't be upset that you are having to vote for 'another party' - just put out anyone now in office.

If we wait until next election, there will be many more illegals voting, some already do, and there will be many more electronic voting machines - with no paper trail.

Confusion to the enemy - I think we should all realize just who the enemy is by now.

I agree with you completely. There is no alternative but a revolution which, with luck, will happen using the ballot box and not the ammo box. However, I am not not all that hopeful.

I have been voting Libertarian whenever possible since my first ballot in 1976. However, it was not until this past year that I became a "card carrying" Libertarian. I will never vote for a GOP/Dem again, I do not care who they are or what they have done.

The GOP/Dems have systematically destroyed this country, working slowly and steadily throughout my life.

First the "War on Poverty" (1964) began to erode the family and the community by replacing personal relationships with a government relationship.

Next came immigration with Ted "I'll destroy this country for killing my brothers and not electing me President" Kennedy's immigration reform of 1965. That opened the floodgates for people who had no interest in the status quo.

Of course, we also had the incredibly botched Vietnam War which was micromanaged from the White House to the detriment of all involved. The lesson the world took from that was that America is a paper tiger.

Concurrent with Vietnam, we also had the rise of the radical (socialist) college campus which is a slow-acting poison destroying the minds of multiple generations. The primary payoff was defeating the US in Vietnam. The secondary payoff for this effort would come thirty years later with the rise of people like the Clintons.

Then came the "War on Drugs" (1971) which worked exactly the same way as the first Prohibition: a staggering increase in crime, violence, and corruption.

Of course, we also had Jimmy Carter's inept handling of the Presidency which flooded the country with illegals, criminals, crippled the economy, and taught the world we are a paper housecat.

Reagan, Bush, and Clinton continued to erode our freedoms using the RICO Act and the War on Drugs as an excuse. Ruby Ridge and Waco were publicity stunts to make sure everyone knew the punishment for thinking outside of the box would be death.

And here we are today. Totally incapable of doing anything logical as that would violate the precepts of Political Correctness (remember that slow-acting poison?).

The only possible action which will restore America is the systematic dismantling of the monstrosity that is the government. The largest party which advocates that, and the one with the best chance of succeeding, is the Libertarian Party.

Everyone here should read "The 7 Never-to-be-Forgotten Principles of Government" at http://www.harrybrowne.org/articles/...Government.htm. He expounds on them on that page but I will list them here to whet your appetite:

    1) Government is force.
    2) Government is politics.
    3) You don't control government.
    4) Every government program will be more expensive and more expansive than anything you had in mind when you proposed it.
    5) Power will always be misused.
    6) Government doesn't work.
    7) Government must be subject to absolute limits.

We, the people of the United States, have been far too patient for far too long. It is now time to take the !@#$% out of office and then dismantle the horror they have created.

This is not anarchy which is being advocated, it is a return to a notion of personal freedom and the associated responsibilities.
