Glenn Beck: Cliven Bundy ‘unhinged’

Glenn Beck criticized Cliven Bundy’s comments on race on his radio program Thursday, saying the Nevada rancher is “unhinged from reality” and urging his supporters to “end your relationship” with him.

“He’s often wondered if black people would be better off as slaves?” Beck said on his program, after reading from Bundy’s comments on race reported by The New York Times. “End your relationship. End your relationship. If that doesn’t end your relationship with him, you have to go back and question where did you go wrong. You wondered if blacks were better off as slaves picking cotton and having a family life? They didn’t have a family life!”

The radio host and former Fox News contributor had previously urged conservatives not to align too closely with Bundy. Earlier this month, he warned that the standoff between Bundy and the federal government had brought in “violent, anti-government groups.”

Beck in particular zeroed in on Bundy’s comments about “family life” during slavery. “If he really thinks that slaves had a family life, just that shows you how unhinged from reality this guy is,” Beck said. “You’ve got to distance yourself, you must know who you are standing next to at all times.”

Firstly, I do not agree with Cliven Bundy's racial remarks.

The press is and will hammer them though and use them as justification when it comes time to finally raid his home, and possibly end his life.

Which of the two is worse?

David Horowitz (a Jew) once said that we are now living in an era of racial McCarthyism, wherein it is impossible to have any frank honest discussions about racial issues.

Glen Beck, Sean Hannity and other faux “conservatives” have been tripping all over their tongues passionately denouncing Clive Bundy because of his presumed racists statements. Did Mr. Bundy call blacks stupid? No, he did not. Did he say that the country should bring back slavery? No, he did not. Did he say that blacks should be denied the right to vote? No, he did not. Did he condemn interracial marriages or friendships? No, he did not. Did he say Blacks should not be allowed to own a business? No he did not. Did he say Blacks should not be allowed to hold political offices? No he did not. Did he say blacks should go back to Africa? No, he did not. Did he yell Heil Hitler? No, he did not. So what has Bundy said that is so racists? Good question. From the quotations I have seen, Mr. Bundy was stating his observation about the corrosive effects government welfare has on the human spirit, how it destroys lives. In a radio interview about the New York Times quotations from him, he kept repeating that he was “wondering”about what he had seen. Dear timid conservatives, “wondering” does not qualify as racial denigration. “Wondering” is a question, not a declarative sentence. The left has been putting all kinds of words in Bundy’s mouth.

Walter Williams, a black professor of economics at George Mason University has stated, “The welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery couldn’t do, what Jim Crow couldn’t do, what the harshest racism couldn’t do, and that is to destroy the black family.” (Wall Street Journal “Opinion”section, 22 Jan 2011). Gee, that sounds almost exactly like Cliven Bunty’s inarticulate statements about Blacks and slavery. And now for making statements like Walter Williams’, he is being denounced as a racists by faux conservatives and Marxists alike. Does that mean that Walter Williams should be denounced as a “self hating Black man?” I have heard Black conservatives make many similar comparison of welfare socialism and the crippling effect it has on the human spirit and Blacks’ self respect. I have seen no statements by Cliven Bundy that are overtly racists.

The real scandal here is how supposed conservative spokesmen crapped in their pants and ran out to denounce Cliven Bundy based on unproven accusations. This is exactly why conservatives are loosing. By fabricating a faux scandals the political left has a veto over what conservatives are allowed to say and whom they are allowed to support. You can not win a war for freedom that way. The crisis of conservatism is its almost total lack of courageous leaders. Conservatives have no Sam Adams, no George Washingtons, no Barry Goldwaters. None of the big names in present day constructivism are real leaders – just over paid celebrities.

When gutless conservative leaders throw Bundy “under the buss” they are facilitating and empowering left’s war against us. They are validating Marxists’ smears as if they were the truth and they become accessories to the hard lefts’ destroying goodmen by character assignation.

Shame on you, Rand Paul, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck. You have just made it very difficult for me to support any of you. Just shut up and go get a job at the Hoffington Post.

Glenn Beck is a major disappointment. He is no leader. He has no stomach for the hard, knock down, drag out brawl (metaphorically) necessary to take on the hard left with its "kick em in the balls," gutter, street fighting methods.

Glen Beck discourages; he pacifies; he throws flower buds when rocks are necessary. Now he works at cross purposes to us. I do not share all of Mr. Bundies ideas; he is not very articulate, but he is the only one now making a solid stand against the Obama tyranny. And what does Beck do? He craps in his diaper. He tries to get people to withdraw their support from Bundy's cause. It is not the man we are supporting; it is his cause. And just for the record I have not seen any overtly racists comments from Mr. Bundy. I have seen a lot of the leftist enemy putting words in his mouth.

Apparently Beck is one of the later generation of Americans who are obsessed with not doing or saying anything that might remotely be interpreted as racist. He falls allover himself to prove he is not racist, and by doing that he condemns honest people who are not racists but also not afraid of blunt honesty. The truth can not be "racists" it is simply the truth. Glenn Beck talks big but acts tiny.

Glen Beck felt the heat and he ran for the hills or under a rock which every you prefer to call it!!! Oh yep you will find him hiding behind is pay for content with his little Pitchforks and big mouth!!!
