    that's so sad that they would ignore the hottest issue in the country right now ... this is even bigger than the oil spill ...

    maybe they have decided to let the states do it after all .

    I think it's a "tuck tail" tactic. If they don't ask, then they don't get the feedback, then they're not responsible for the fix. Next to Economy, Unemployment, Terrorism, Education; I would write in ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION next to each and every one of them. There's no question that the Parties are aware of the immigration issue. That is however no excuse for not putting on the list. They should none the less be asking their base "Where the issue stands amongst the other issues in order of importance" The knowledge that the problem exists is obvious.... the only reason to pretend it doesn't exist is well...... then I guess it doesn't exist.
