Three or four different sources have said, If they have I-9s and foreigners are legal to work.
Are Americans being laid off and I-9ers hired?

09-11-2008, 05:11 PM #4I really don't know. Alot of store closings and cut-backs in general. Pretty much all I see hiring is warehouse work and it's for temporary (seasonal) work only. They've been taking alot of registers out of stores and putting in the do it yourselfers. The mall which used to be busy looks likes it's closed alot of the time. No matter where I go, people are complaining of serious cuts in hours, and the handfull being worked to death. Just got something from a rep that said we lost 65,000 manufacturing jobs just this year. They are building more shopping centers, but you know as well as I.....those are minimul pay and now there's concern they won't be able to rent out the space when they are done anyway. Plus a huge hub for warehouses in the future......again, warehouse and truckers.......Are Americans being laid off and I-9ers hired?
But of course our property taxes are going up even though they are being taxed for more than they're worth ( coz sorry folks, we need the money....our expenses haven't changed) and now another increase in electricity. I seriously don't see how they expect people to maintain. Saw atleast 4 new for sale signs going up in my neighborhood and there were quite a few to begin with. Alot of people selling their cars and such.
Now Goodwill seems to be doing well......and McDonalds and the grocery stores.

P L E A S E help get Constitutionally-Minded folks get in the House of Reps.
Jobs (outsourcing, trade deficits, budget debt) are my HOT top concern.
BTW, I was at the Hold Their Feet to the Fire yesterday. A lot of ticked off people, lets hope it show in Nov.

Thanks, Dan. Not only should there be Constitutionally-minded folks, but just plain American patriots who appreciate every nuance this country has to offer for our citizens and those realizing most Americans do not like the NWO forced on our lives.
What remains unsaid by many is that the American consumer can no longer consume cheap goods from China, etc., as they can barely afford food for their families and gas to get to the grocery store in the first place. Minute by minute our debt to other countries is rising while there is no talk of cutting back on giving aid to every country in the world except America and its citizens. Oh yes, aid to citizens comes in the package of pork slipped into many bills around midnight before the vote is scheduled.
Most favored status is given to everyone, legal or illegal foreigners in this country, everyone that is besides the US workers and those who proudly built this country through its history.
It has become "greed is wonderful" in every aspect of corporate and governmental hierarchy. Good luck in your congressional quest.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
