Thread: Governor of Arkansas?

Asa Hutchinson the former Under secretary for homeland security For Border and transportion security is running for governor of Arkansas. I can see nothing accomplished while in the federal government but now he is running for election he has a plan to deal with illegal immigration. My question is why didn't he do something when he was in office and had the pull. Trouble is his opponent Mike Beebe as far as I can see has'nt addressed the issue. I'd be interested in seeing some thought on this.

He probably didn't do anything while he was in office because immigration wasn't as popular subject as it is now. Until recently, immigration has always seem to be either pushed aside, or unpopular to talk about.
More than likely, this guy is just going to use this hot topic to get elected. Hopefully he won't get elected. If he didn't do anything before, its doubtful he will do anything now.

Does he mention what his plan is? Pence also had a plan, and it sucks big time.

Asa was at a town meeting in the San Joaquin valley of California and he was asked why he didn't deport illegals caught inland from the border. He said that he could not condone racial profiling. He was playing the P C card to avoid doing his job. He is as worthless as tits on a boar hog! However Arkansas needs him, the Clinton's are a hard act to follow.
