    The Great American Sellout!!!

Found this on the NumbersUSA Action Buffet. Our Senators have betrayed our America Citizens and the future of our nation!! So sad!!

Senate Immigration Bill Rejects American Citizens
    Beverly Hills Courier : June 1 , 2006 -- by Clif Smith

"Not only do we have no border, we have no right to our own country under this bill. Under the Senate bill, that right now belongs to illegals. We must obey our laws. They are exempt. We, our children and their children will be taxed to pay for all of this in perpetuity. This is a royal bipartisan betrayal of the American people. It solves nothing..." Previously, this column thoughtfully tried to deal with illegal immigration in such a way as to preserve the rule of law but also recognize human rights and human compassion. Well, the deal is done and the law side lost. Big time. We cannot allow compassion to force us into a giant rip-off.

If the Mexican government suddenly took control of the United States Senate, in its wildest imagination it could not have dreamed of the kinds of disgusting, insulting, degrading and treacherous provisions this supposedly American legislative body cooked up yesterday. Commentators want bi-partisanship? They got it in the most blatant betrayal of a nation's sovereignty since King Charles I of England invited the French to invade and defeat Cromwell's Parliamentary forces. Charles was beheaded for his treason. What will happen here?

Among the highlights: billions for illegals from Social Security, a free pass for identity theft, immunity from deportation, a free pass for employers who hire illegals, tax exemptions, fake voter registration, ninety million MORE illegals to come here. That's just the start. Enforcement? Well, maybe some day, but definitely not for two more years.

Is this hyperbole or panic? Read on. The reality is much worse than any propaganda could possibly make it.

If an American uses another's Social Security card, that is identity theft. If caught, we would be prosecuted for a felony. The illegals? No fine, no penalty, no arrest. Instead, they get FULL CREDIT for time worked so that they can get full Social Security benefits as if they had a legal Social Security card. No American would be allowed to get away with this kind of fraud.

The reality is that illegals use one good Social Security number, pass it around to dozens of people and then claim benefits. When the state or the federal government catches up, they simply disappear or use another number. We are guaranteed that whole groups of people will all of a sudden claim benefits from one number. A US citizen trying this would be jailed. Illegals will get the money. We are being ripped off.

All enforcement of current immigration laws is put on hold. Why? Because under this bill, no alien is illegal. All are declared OK to stay in the United States indefinitely. What is more, they would now be allowed to bring in all their "relatives." Event his provision is a farce. Anybody who actually believes that their "relatives" are really related means relying on the authenticity of Mexican, Nicaraguan, Guatemalan government documents. Are we really that stupid and gullible?

The bill contains big fines for employers who hire illegals. Big deal. We have fines on the books now. What does it take to violate the new employer provisions? Well, to start with the fines do not begin until the verification system is in place. That system will not be built for eighteen more months at the earliest. (Anybody want to bet that it will be in place by then?) Then, if an employer checks and the worker is rejected, that worker can appeal. During the appeal, the worker can continue working without penalty and the employer can continue to employ him without penalty. How fast will the federal government process the appeal? How fast does it do anything? The employer sanction provision is ludicrous. If the Senate were serious, it would use the sytem that exists NOW.

Today there is an 800 number that any employer can use to verify the legitimacy of a social security number and confirm the name. Congressman David Dreier of California and Border Patrol union chief T.J. Bonner put together a bill a year ago to require use of that 800 number. That provision is no where to be found in the Senate bill. Verification? No way.

Taxes? How much? Everyone knows about the cash economy. What chance is there that these low-paid, under-the-table workers will all of a sudden start declaring all of their income? No way. What will happen is that they will declare just enough to get the low income tax credits, housing assistance, food stamps, free schools, in-state school tuition, free medical care, and all of the other benefits. Every dollar above the threshold will never be declared. Is this fantasy? No. It is EXACTLY what is happening now. A U.S. citizen trying the same thing would be prosecuted for tax evasion and welfare fraud. Illegals simply say "No comprende," deny they are the person charged, and disappear into the shadows.

Elections? We already have documented cases of thousands of illegals registering to vote. Now, the March 25 coalition screams it is registering voters. If the marchers are not citizens, how can they vote? Easy. They just do. If we thought the 2000 Florida fiasco was unsettling, what happens when thousands of illegals start mailing in absentee ballots? When US citizens are caught doing this, as happened in Rep. Maxine Waters' district, they are prosecuted. Under this bill, the illegals get off.

Language? Many senators opposed English-only provisions and called the requirement for English "racist." President Bush? His own 2000 book A Charge to Keep opposed English only. Did anybody read his book? There is such a book, and it is a roadmap of his presidency. He wants Spanish as a real second language in this country. Anyone call the IRS recently? Full service available in Spanish. Viva Bush.

Does this bill cap or slow illegal immigration? If you believe in word tricks, it does. It solves "illegal" by making the next ninety million illegals legal. The bill's provisions authorize, mean make LEGAL, up to ninety million MORE illegals. That equals one-third of our current population. Why bother with legality? Just let everybody come. Any person in the United States today will be allowed to stay. He or she will be allowed to bring in, legally, parents, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, grandparents. And again, no real proof is required that any of these family members are really related. This is a blanket authorization for ninety million MORE illegals. Every one of them will be entitled to free health care, free education, free housing assistance, free food stamps, freedom from drunk driving laws, freedom from identity theft laws, and then finally, full Social Security benefits. Disability, unemployment, SSI income payments - you name it, they get it.

As for border enforcement, Lee Baca has more deputies on duty than the entire new force to be added. He patrols unincorporated LA County. We have 2000 miles of border with Mexico and 3000 with Canada. That is about one person Guardsman per mile, even if Bush does add 6000 (given 24 hours and three shifts, that is at the most one person for every two and a half miles).

Even then, they cannot arrest anybody or actually do anything. That would insult Mexico. The President has been apologizing to them for weeks now. The message from the Senate and the White House is: "Dear Americans, get lost but make sure you pay your taxes. You have no rights to your own country." President Fox of Mexico declares: "There is no border." How true that is.

Not only do we have no border, we have no right to our own country under this bill. Under the Senate bill, that right now belongs to illegals. We must obey our laws. They are exempt. We, our children and their children will be taxed to pay for all of this in perpetuity. This is a royal bipartisan betrayal of the American people. It solves nothing.

How the so-called Party of Reagan and the Party of union workers could betray the American middle class like this is devastating and beyond comprehension.

    Heads should roll.

What will happen here?? Now that's a good question. More than two hundred million Americans are plenty ticked. I would suggest that we're the ones with the 'big stick' therefore this supposed senate and house should walk softly.

    Tax revolt....yessiree...

Indeed, a tax revolt. Bring them to their knees like they are slowly trying to do to us. Difference is, we are paying them to commit treason, and treat us like nameless and faceless mutants...its time to turn the tables on washington.

    Who is in control?

Yesssssireeee. Our wonderful defacto Mexican government looking out for the interests of it's citizens (the illegal aliens). U.S. citizens have now become illegal aliens. The administration touts a wonderful economy with low unemployment but conveniently omits the fact that these jobs are being filled by illegal aliens while US citizens continue to see their jobs sent overseas or filled by H1B holders. Comrade Bush's Globalist Manifesto continues ever onward.

    1. Iraq mess
    2. Immigration mess
    3. "Loss" of my and other veterans and active duty personal data to drug cartels and illegal aliens
    4. New Orleans still unprepared for 2006 hurricane season
    5. Just being jackasses and wastes of taxpayer dollars

    IMPEACH BUSH NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE SENATE: The most corrupt institution money can buy!!!!!!!!!!
