I recently saw a film in limited release. It is titled For Greater Glory in English and Cristiada in Spanish. The story of the film itself isn't really relevant to the illegal immigration problem. It is about the armed revolt against the Calle government's attempt to outlaw the Catholic Church in Mexico. There is one scene which is relevant however. Peter O'Toole plays a priest, Father Christopher, who from his accent, is British. When the government orders all foreign clergy to leave he decides to stay saying that because he came to Mexico as a young child and grew up there he considers himself Mexican. This doesn't convince the Federales who later execute him in front of the altar of his church.
