    HAPPY BELATED ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

I was out most of the day running around to get ready for EASTER! Everything is rushed this year!

God bless all Americans past and present that built and fought for our nation!

Dixie, my family is mainly French ancestry, and a little Scotch (also one German ancestor) on my dad's side, besides the Mi'qmak on my mothers side, that's pretty much it.

However, inadvertanlty, I did wear green, but it is my favorite color anyways.

My husband is from German /Polish background, grew up in Chicago, and I had to ask him about the corned beef and cabbage, he has had it a lot, plus the green beer in his younger days, and remembers going down to the river to watch the city guys dump the green dye into it.

My husband is FULL Irish, second generation American. He cooked me this delicious Irish beef stew, a recipe from his mother. It had red wine and beer in it, and of course, potatoes. We had it with cornbread. Everything was delicious!

AND BEST OF ALL, HE CLEANED UP THE KITCHEN AFTERWARDS!!!
