Hard to believe
In the October 27 Chatham News, Siler City Police Report, two of those listed are for DWI, no liability insurance, fictitious registration plates, improper equipment and left of center & DWI, no liability insurance, no operators license, seat belt violation, fictitious registration plates and open container in passenger area. Guess what the bond was for each of these people. NONE, THEY WERE BOTH RELEASED TO A SOBER ADULT. This is what Chatham County has turned into. It's almost as bad as the judge in Durham dropping charges of DWI because their rights weren't read to them in a language they could understand.

Not surprised at all. Had it been two white people, they would have thrown the book at them, but it's keystone cops when it comes to illegal aliens. The new MO for these police should be to serve and protect only when we feel like it. The same people will probably say that enforcing the laws is only a federal issue.
