Thread: Has Anyone Noticed This in America?

It's about people in the United States. People just don't seem nearly as happy and positive as they used to be. I'm really noticing it everywhere I go.

Recently I read this article saying that Americans are happy. I think it was put out there on purpose to cover the truth, that they are not feeling positive and hopeful.

I'm just wondering if other people have noticed this?

I think Americans are stressed out to the max, worried, and they are feeling the neglect and ignoring attitude their elected officials give to them.

It's very sad to see.

The only people who are smiling that I've seen lately are John McCain and George Bush.

It is very true. People know that the country is on the decline and the government is locked up in personal empires and sell-out corruption to other countries.

Many more than I care to admit are resigned to an impending (MOD EDIT).

I live in Michigan, and the state is in the worst condition it has ever been. I am starting to pack my things so that I can get ready to leave when I have to.

Why am I unhappy? Do you want the truth? Or do you want shove "political correctness" down my throat because you think that accusing me of being a racist makes you better than me?

Here's the truth:

1. Computer companies now routinely bar white males from the application process. Many companies have permanent "diversity" policies that means anyone with a White Anglo-Saxon background is not considered for a job. In order to apply for work at any of these of companies I have to do alot of research into the "race" policies of these of companies to see how many white males they have fired.

2. I have worked construction as well, but in Michigan illegal Mexican laborers have been used to replace American citizens in the construction trades. A drywall laborer I worked with estimates that up to 90% of drywall laborers in Michigan have been replaced by illegal Mexican aliens.

3. "State" funded jobs such as university and state staffing rolls in Michigan now have permanent hiring policies that prohibit white males from being considered for hiring. I have applied to work at Michigan State University several times. When I looked into my application process, I was once told that it "had been thrown in the garbage".

Proposition A, the voter passed ammendment to ban raced-based hiring in the state of Michigan is not enforced. No one can afford the lengthy litigation process to get a suit to court, so the practice of banning white males from many State job positions goes on the way it has before.

Lawyers control the lawsuit process, so you can't "sue" anyone for these practices unless you have deep pockets and years of time.

Kinda hard for an out-of-work laborer to do, huh? If can't handle the truth then don't expect "political correctness" to be your cover-up for what goes on in the real world.

4. The Detroit area is home to a large radical Muslim population made up of individuals who attend Mosques that preach that white americans will be killed off in a Jihad. Many of these Muslims are permanently on welfare and refuse to work for living. Who gave them this welfare? The very white Christians who worked their asses off to give them this free-loader lifestyle. If you talk about this truth you will be accused of being a racist. Many Black radicals in the Detroit area, including Al Sharpton, have expressed their approval of seeing Americans killed off in more terrorist attacks. Our current Detroit mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, is a HUGE fan of Louis Farrakhan, and Louis Farrakhan is frequently invited to speak at huge rallies in Detroit where he preaches to his audience that White people are the "enemy" and that they should learn how to destroy their lives.

And we pay for this with our taxes while we lose our jobs...

If you roll your eyes and clear your throat because you don't want to hear that companies don't want to hire older so-called "white males" then don't pull the old "I've never heard of that before" game...

We are a Society that is being Manipulated. I have said it before on here in several posts. Most of the members of Congress are Attorneys, and Politicians that are Attorneys do 2 things VERY WELL...

Any article that says Americans are happy today is either fluff journalism or a result of cognitive dissonance. It is a psychological defense mechanism to avoid dealing with reality.

That reality is that diversity is killing this country. The word 'diversity' comes from the word 'divide', and we all know what they say about a house divided. If a color blind society was really the goal, we wouldn't have these race quotas, diversity orthodoxies, and mass Third World infusions every year.

One of those things alone might be defendable, but all three working together send the real message pretty clearly. Whites are persona non grata in their own country. Our government and society nonverbally communicates everyday: "Shut up, pay taxes, and get out of the way". After the Imus affair, I found even the modern day white disciples of MLK complaining about our society's double standard.

In many of their writings, the Founders wrote of how absolutely vital it was for a country to have a common background. I think it was Jefferson or Hamilton who posited that, if overnight we transplanted 20 million Americans into France, would France be a stronger country? Or would 20 million French really make America a stronger country? Or would the ensuing language barrier, different cultural beliefs, varying worldview, and historical animosity divide the country and weaken it from within?

The Balkans is a most instructive preview of our own future as a nation. The only reason we aren't already there is because of the opiate known as TV.

Anyway, for the book lovers out there, you might be interested in reading about the Founders' attitudes toward immigration. They are explored in the book, 33 Questions About American History You're Not Supposed to Ask, by Thomas Woods. Citations are informative for debates as well.

White Middle Class cannot find employment. Equal Opportunity helps everyone but us. We are so PC we are getting stamped out. Our voice is crushed. Need to speak Spanish to apply.

You have the ACLU and LaRaza defending "their people". And that is not racist. But WE are racist if we stick together or speak out.

Everyone is in debt. No Savings. No job training for middle class whites.

Insurance - Car, House, Health, is required and takes 75% of one's income, yet pays for nothing. Deductibles are high. Funny thing that even though "required", ton of folks out there don't carry it, and get away with breaking the laws.

It costs a months salary to save 1 tooth at the dentist. It costs your home for a hospital stay for a heart attack.

Middle Class cannot get help to keep themselves going. You have to be from Mexico or Africa to be noticed.

Middle Class will have to lose everything to qualify for anything.

We have so called Elected Officials who don't represent us, don't do anything to help us, and are our worst Enemies

We have inferior Expensive Chinese Good and Appliances. Everything from cars to washers parts are made of inferior plastics and break. There are recalls on everything, but they will give you $100 towards a new appliance from them (that will break). We are forced to buy goods that last a couple of years, from people that now have our jobs, and don't have the income to afford it. Government does nothing but help other countries.

Anyone have an appliance that lasts 5 years anymore, much less 10 years?

We work more hours, and have a crappy quality of life, and very little hope that anything will change our lives.

So, while others come here for the American Dream, someone here has to give up theirs. We get the nightmare.

What angers me is that there are those exploiting that very fact with their grand, illusive promise of hope...like Obama!

We have public schools that have been overwhelmed with IAs and children of IAs, gangs in schools and huge fights between Blacks and Latinos and others. Scores of hospitals and trauma centers bankrupted by IAs, prisons jammed. The list goes on.

Inflation getting worse, taxes going higher, outsourcing of white collar jobs going full force, minimal job security, "diversity" and affirmative action programs that discriminate against caucasians, especially middle class males (who are often portrayed as dopes in popular culture).

And then we're basically told to shut up, accept this, and pay for and subsidize tens of millions of IAs who have snuck into our country.

NO Way!

All this stuff going on in OUR country is certainly NOT conducive to our happiness!
