I think everyone senses this country is going down the crapper. Now this has happened before(especially in the late 70s) and we came out of it.

The difference today is that big business doesnt want to lose profits so they import massive amounts of immigrants(legal or illegal, they dont care) and that keeps the ecomony afloat. At the same time it destroys our culture and standard ofliving.

The AMerica we all grew up with is dying. We all sense it and you can tell by the declining birth rate. Of course this gives the elites another reason to bring in more immigrants.

What we need more than anything right now is a sense of hope. We need a LEADER. But there isnt one. I pray that one will emerge soon.

I am also very frightened for our country, and the direction it is headed. The government/elected officials should be worried about US citizens---of all races/cultures/nationalities----instead of people from other countries who have illegally entered. They are taking away from us, our children and grandchildren---in order to give to people who should not even be here.

I have also lamted our declining birth rate, but I read a very good editorial written by a (very smart) college student this past week. It stated that our country is being forced to accept these immigrants due to business's demand for labor that NO country would or could naturally fulfill.

In other words, it's not that we have a demographics problem, we just have a huge GREED problem.

Just look at all the construction projects going on, all over the place. I"ve never, EVER seen such a so-called "boom." This is is reason for this bloodthirsty demand for cheap labor by these big business barons --the ONLY way they can do it is through cheap labor. And they will important as much of it as they can to get it done.

I think the fact that we don't have the labor is not as much of the problem is that no country on EARTH could support such a demand.

And hell, why WOULD we reproduce at the rate that these people do? It's not smart, not sustainable, and it's irresponsible.

Americans, for the most part, have children once they are married and financially ready to have them. They don't have them, just to place the burden on the STATE to take care of them.

We will get one, but not sure how soon He will be here. In the interim, pray really hard for the right human leader to emerge .

BTW, we all know McCain is certainly not that one, he is the opposite of what we need.

Millere, I said it once, I'll say it again, the NW is good, and still good for average American males, give it a try, plus, our winters are mild compared to the upper midwest.
