As for the concerted effort -

The Mexican government hired a PR firm out of Dallas 'to improve the image of the illegal in America'.

The head of this firm is a personal friend of the Bush family and ran the Pres.'s first campaign for governor.

I smell a really slick PR firm coordinating all of this.

I just wonder how much tax dollars went into this.
Can you recall the name of the firm?

    You mean this guy:

"The ads that the government of Mexico placed in the NYT, LAT, and WaPo were created by Rob Allyn, whose PR firm is being paid $720,000 to spread Mexican propaganda in the U.S."
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

A local radio station (San Antonio) had an interview with the lady organizers of the march. They were asked who was helping them with the organization of the march and the Catholic Church was the first thing she said and then acted like she should not have said it ... then went on to name the normal groups ...

Another interesting "tidbit" about Allyn. His ties to Ace Cash Express.

justme, I said this in another thread. I know it can be a sticky subject, but the Catholic Church is looking to increase her numbers here in the United States.

If any polling firm were to ask all conservative voters what church they affiliated with in the United States, you would find, I can almost guarantee this, they identify themselves as of Protestant faiths, mainly Evangelical, second Baptists, and so on. The Catholic Church's numbers have dwindled drastically and with those numbers comes lost political power.

Although for the most part, many idealogical ideas betwen Catholics and those of Evangelical and Baptists are highly similar, there are some extreme differences in theological beliefs. With that comes the ability to influence politicians. With all the problems the Catholic church has seen with molestation scandals and being sued, they are losing money (AND THEY ARE AN EXTREMELY WEALTHY CHURCH), if they can wield more political power, they can influence politicians to side with them to have lawsuits overturned and limits be put on any litigations in the future.

Thus, if they have all these established Catholics made voting citizens into the United States, they begin to have more political power and more influence in the government. And of course with better earnings, the parishioners give more to the church.

    It's all very corrupt.
