Heckler Says ‘Illegal Immigrants Are The Backbone Of Our Country’… Gets SCHOOLED By Trump
From the launch of his bid for the Republican presidential nomination last June, Donald Trump has made the issue of illegal immigration a central theme of his campaign, calling for a wall to be built across the nation’s porous southern border with Mexico and for the deportation of illegal aliens currently living in the United States. It’s a political position that’s drawn a lot of fire for the GOP front-runner, who isn’t hesitant to return fire on his very vocal critics.
During a speech to supporters in New Hampshire — where the first-in-the-nation primary will take place on Tuesday — the billionaire businessman was interrupted by a protester who shouted at him about the controversial issue, saying of illegals, “They’re the backbone of our country!”
Trump briefly halted his address to respond to the disruptive woman, stating, “The backbone of our country? I don’t think so, darling.” He further added, to wild applause:
“You know what the backbone of our country is? People that came to this country legally and they worked their a** off and they’ve made the country great. That’s the backbone.”
The back and forth comes in the aftermath of the disclosure of an Obama administration directive calling for border patrol agents to “catch and release” illegal immigrants instead of arresting them for deportation, justifying the decision with the excuse that not enough of those caught show up for their scheduled deportation hearings. A defiant border agent who testified before Congress claims the directive is a license for illegal aliens to stay in the country.
As The New York Times recently noted in an article about former Sen. Scott Brown’s endorsement of Trump, the brash political outsider’s message on illegal immigration may play well with primary voters in New Hampshire. The Times observed that in the Granite State, “concerns about immigration have long been a potent weapon.”
So, ironically, the protestor’s outburst at the Trump rally may have given The Donald a great chance to underscore his potentially appealing proposals for dealing with the hot-button issue.
Via Fox News, you can click on the video below to watch a quick summary of the impact of “catch and release,” followed by the heckler and Trump’s response.

Excellent response Mr. Trump.

We need to have a boycott of some of those "backbone" industries. Like McDonalds, I hardly ever see an Anglo worker in their stores anymore. Jack in the Box is notorious for hiring illegals. And I could care less whether some shopping center clear across town gets its shrubs trimmed and weeds pulled when I never even see it. Likewise with hotels hundreds of miles away.

Catch & release is a blatant disregard of our immigration laws & it is ridiculously appalling that no member of our congress is doing anything to stop this immediately. We have a gov't, a constitution, a country or not??
Why are these gonefs collecting salaries (culminating to pensions) allowed to continue in their positions??

Some people actually are doing what they can to resolve the issue of immigration enforcement. For example, http://www.alipac.us/f12/ted-cruz-je...n-laws-328669/
So it's wrong to say no members of the congress have tried or are trying. There have been attempts by various congresspersons to get our laws enforced."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

We've all been around long enough to know the reality of the situation in any political body. If you don't get majority support you lose, period. Although, that doesn't mean the minority didn't do their absolute best. I can respect and appreciate any man or woman that gives it their best.
