The federal government has no authority to do that. The people of these states have spoken, many through referendum, others through their state legislatures.

    "Parents opposed to Pot".

Message to parents, we're not your children's baby-sitters. If you don't want your children using drugs, then you stop them, they're your kids, they're your responsibility. It's your obligation to know where they are, who they are with and what they are doing. GROW UP and take responsibility for your children.

I personally can't imagine a parent who actually loves their children who would prefer them purchasing or using drugs supplied by criminal foreign drug cartels and if busted shipped off to prison ruining their lives forever. What kind of people are these "Parents Opposed to Pot"?

I'll tell you, either they're complete idiots or these anti-pot organizations are fronts for the drug cartels who want and need pot to remain illegal in the United States.

Wake Up, People. STOP LETTING YOURSELVES BE PUNKED BY SCUM BAG DRUG LORDS IN MEXICO!

You're absolutely wrong on this. AG Sessions has complete authority to send the DEA in to close down these distribution centers and growers if he so desires. Sessions is a law and order kind of guy. I'm shocked that you seem to have the same mindset as Obama, Holder, and Lynch on the enforcement of our country's laws (pick & choose). Well, I've never had that impression of Sessions. Furthermore, I personally watched him say in his confirmation hearing for DOJ that he would faithfully enforce ALL our laws.

Isn't not enforcing our laws something we were constantly attacking the Obama administration on?

That comment doesn't even deserve a response.

Marijuana grown, sold and used within a state should be under state laws. (PERSONAL OPINION)

The feds should only be involved if it crosses international borders or state lines.

That comment doesn't even deserve a response.
The Constitution EMPOWERED DIRECTLY the federal government to control immigration. Our immigration laws are DIRECT CONSTITUTIONAL POWERS of the federal government. You want to empower the government through court rulings, the very judicial activism and legislating from the bench that we all OPPOSE.

My comment about the parents deserved more than a response, it deserves a follow-up and here it is:

“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”

Don't really understand why you posted this again. I was aware that it was only an opinion. My response with fact was not a personal attack of your opinion or your right to make it.

Not so. The DEA operates under the Department of Justice and can operate anywhere in the country. If AG Sessions directs them to bust every distribution center and grower in Colorado, so be it.

You're just ranting nonsense now. The Hitler comment is way over the top.

No, MW, you've been ranting authoritarian gibberish on this topic since you started and it's time people stand up to it. So I do.
