Are you implying this has anything to do with the discussion we've been having on a states right to override the federal government and legalize a schedule 1 drug?

If so, I don't see the connection. Allowing boys to use girls locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms is not established law.

No, MW, you don't see the connection because you don't seem to understand the issues pertaining to either subject very well. You're all tied up and blinded with authoritarianism disease.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you.

Oh well, guess we'll just have to call this an impasse.

Text. The full text of the amendment reads as follows:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

They are both STATE'S RIGHTS ISSUES.
The federal government needs to stay out of both issues.

State legislatures must create drug laws that are in compliance with the Controlled Substances Act. This means that the state drug laws may be more narrow than federal drug laws, but may not override them or be in conflict with them.

I'll tell you the same thing I told Judy, we're at an obvious impasse on the drug issue.

The Controlled Substances Act should have never included marijuana. Everyone knows that now. The Controlled Substances Act can't even "control" the epidemic of actual narcotics distributed and administered through hospitals and the medical profession. Wake Up, MW!!

Will you ever tire of responding to fact with opinion. I thought we agreed to an impasse?

I was only attempting to end my and JohDoe's discussion. I'm polite that way.
