Ditto. I'm sure that the Clinton Machine is using this tactic with almost all of their special interest groups in order to get Hilldawg elected. I can only imagine how many times Hilldawg's people talked to the OBL this month while she was flip flopping on drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

The bottom line is that the Clinton Machine loves CHICOM money and they would also love to have a new block of voters (illegal aliens) that would secure Hilldawg's (re)election.

Her hubby coddles China for years, now she tries to "get tough" with them during an election. What a joke. You really can't believe a word she says.

I don't buy Chinese (well, unless it's chinese food) when and where I can help it. I also don't buy any products with the "Hecho en Mexico" writting on it.

The price tag / their profit margin is what DC and all the major corps who went there were thinking. This is also being used as a diversionary tactic by Clinton. Right now she knows she's extremely weak where Illegal Immigration is concerned. She feels if she can associate herself with something the Anti-Illegal crowd feels passionate about, she can worm her way in.

I don't care to give her any due when she says something she thinks I would want to hear because I do not trust her any more than anything that's being "Made in China".

I never believed we should have any trade agreements with China simply
because of what is happening now, wealthy corporations will sell their
mother out to increase the bottom line. The two biggest problems for the
future of this country will hinge on trade agreements and immigration.
We certainly cannot continue as we are, the super wealthy believe they
are immune to the downside of our current problems but I don't agree,
the impact will be huge in coming years.

Bill Richardson was Clinton's Energy Secretary when the Los Alamos spy scandal broke wide open. Sen. Byrd excoriated Richardson for his ineptness and said during the hearings that Richardson should never be 'allowed to hold ANY public office again'!!!

Hillarhoid is taking a page out of her hubby's playbook. In the '92 campaign, The Slickster criticized Bush 41, for his support of Most Favored Nation trade status for China. If Clinton had been sincere in his opposition to MFN, (now known as PNTR-Permanent Normal Trade Relations) it would have been a bright spot in his shameful presidency.

Shortly after taking office, Slick reversed his position on MFN. If, God forbid it, Hillarhoid is elected, we'll see the same kind of about face.
