Thread: Homeland security on FOX NOW! Press conference!

While any improved security is welcome, count me as one who is underwhelmed. Sounds like they want some talking points about "border security" for an amnesty push -- just like the Bush admin. did.

What about the Duncan Hunter double-layered fence? What about the Nat'l Guard or even the Army on the border? Why the delay of E-Verify which would ultimately help to cut back illegal crossings? Why not cut off funds to sanctuary cities?

And why is our southern border STILL not secured this long after 9/11?!

Let's face it -- especially with the Dems in power -- there is little political will to secure the border and enforce our immigration laws.

Yes I agree, they are doing as little as possible and trying to further their agenda at the same time.

If the Federal Government would do the only job they are suppose to do like securing our ports and borders, immigration control, foreign policy. making sure the goods that are imported to this country were safe, and keep their noses out of health care, education, etc. we would be alot better off and secure.
