    LEO assistance

    Thanks wmarincic for that suggestion.

I have contacted swatchick via pm in response to her earlier e-mail. At this point as crazy as it sounds, it doesn't appear to be a criminal offense just to be in the country illegally. The LEOs are still in turf jurisdictions as they were prior to 9/11. If it was a criminal issue there is one LEO, the DMV Enforcement, to handle the issue of the fradulent use of a SSN, and one agent in particular who would get responsibility. As of this writing, that one agent has not responded to my inquiry.

So this has evolved into a civil matter where I will present the issue to a civil judge. It will be interesting to see what a civil judge does.

If you feel that he is stealing from you which it sounds like he is , then it IS something that the Police can handle, try that route also along with the Federal Trade Commission and the State Attorney General.
