Steve does have a good idea - I'm greatful for those who voted no, but how many knew it was a safe vote as this deal was going to pass - in one form or another.
To me, you can't divorce illegal immigration from this bailout. Yes, the fat cats made the big dollars, but many houses went to illegals. Also the illegals were involved in a big way in every aspect of the building of these houses.
Their presence here and their being able to purchase homes, had, I'm thinking, an effect on the situation.
