Thanks so much for the warm and wonderful responses here on this thread and in PM.

I am very honored that you would wish to pass this poem on.
Perhaps it will touch a heart and make a difference, and if so, then I would be proud and humbled to have it passed on.

Writing is cathartic to me. It is how I get past a difficult situation and find my way toward progress again. I have been in tears all day. I needed to purge that and get strong again.

I have sent this to the president, my two senators and my house rep. I have sent it to lou dobbs at cnn and my local newspaper the conroe courier. I posted it on the saveourstate website and they love it also.

I am bumping this so that all the visitors can realize their feelings are the same as the majority of Americans. PAF put into words what I feel but had no clue how to describe it.
