IL: Mitt Romney listed 1st on ballot
Mitt Romney is listed 1st on ballot in sanctuary Cook County
Good News – Bad News
Good = Huckabee is listed 9th (last) on the Republican ballot
1 Mitt Romney
2 Ron Paul
3 John McCain
4 Fred Thompson
5 Alan Keyes
6 James Creighton Mitchell, Jr.
7 Tom Tancredo
8 Rudy Giuliani
9 Mike Huckabee
Bad = Here in sanctuary Cook County the ballots are in BOTH English and Spanish.
(They should have at least had two versions of the ballots (English or Spanish);
I really didn’t want to look at that. (It felt as if I were voting in Mexico)
More Bad News = Dick Durbin has no one running against him on the Democratic ballot,
so we are going to have to stop him in November.
(And Hillary gets another vote!)

When I voted last week, Romney was at the top, followed by Huckabee and McCain. Thompson and Guiliani were still on there.

I was just looking around at other counties; the two others I reviewed had the same order.
I think it may be statewide thing, not per county is I first thought. (That would be good)
FYI: (If anyone cares); Its Obama 1st and then Hillary 2nd on the DEMs ballot!<div>“There is no longer any Left or Right, there is only Tyranny or Liberty ”</div>

Just got back. To my surprise ALL of the candidates including Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter were on my ballot.
It sort of surprised me, I thought they might have been removed. It made me just a tad sad to see TOM TANCREDO......but I did what I knew I needed to do and I voted for Mitt Romney.
After I voted the screen said:
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MITT ROMNEY

voted! here in mchenry county they moved our voting location (temporarily) so we were in a large room with 2 other voting districts. at one table (not ours) there were 2 non english speaking individuals trying to get a ballot they refused to give party affiliation and when told it was a primary they had NO idea what that meant. i don't know if they were given a ballot... i hope not.
