They are drafting legislation in Illinois that she "hopes to get passed" relatively soon. After I watched the Comcast interview, I was livid and wrote the following letter:


Dear Ms. Berrios:

During your interview on Comcast aired on February 7, 2007, I listened in horror to your suggestion that illegal aliens should be given Illinois drivers licenses because they are hard working people and that the only crime they committed was entering our country illegally.

As a state representative, you are an elected official and someone sworn to uphold the laws of United States of America. Your reasoning that they need to be given permission to drive because they are hard working and they need to drive to work (in addition to their crime of illegal entry) and because their kids are growing up here is equally absurb. I find it appalling that you would support providing citizen reserved documentation to criminals who deliberately break the law regardless of why they perpetually do so.

Your support and representation of illegal aliens first because you share an ethnicity is treasonous and a betrayal of America, its laws and its citizens.

She also worked to ensure that undocumented students who graduated from Illinois high schools have access to public colleges and universities and are charged in-state tuition.

I can believe that since she named various hispanic organization that are partnered with the U of I to ensure scholarships as well. When the moderator asked her what her response would be to those who felt that illegals should not be entitled to drivers' licenses, she got very nervous and that was when she made the claim that they had only broken ONE law. I was ready to jump through the tv screen and connect the dots that becomes a succession of criminal activity once they enter illegally. Unfortunately, the moderator let her slide and the interview ended.

This is what I keep saying to all in IL who will listen.

If you don't want mexican traitors in your government DON'T VOTE FOR ANY HISPANIC POLITICIANS. They are ALL the same here.

It's not racist to try to prevent illegal mexican advocates from influencing OUR government as they have in IL.

It's also a fact that EVERY latino politician is PRO-ILLEGAL MEXICAN.

It's just a fact of life. All we can do is vote for their American(non-hispanic) opponent or withhold our vote from them and spread the word.
A moron American rep will do much less harm than a TRAITOR.

It really sucks but it's the only thing we can do to keep reps like this out of OUR government. Everyone in IL will soon be living in a mex pi$$hole if we elect any more.

You get no argument from me. The fact that the anchor babies who IMHO are citizens by default betray us for people of a country that many of them have never visited is mind boggling. I honestly believe it is embedded in them from birth by the illegal alien parents who may or may not have yet gained citizenship.

I agree. They are ALL pro-illegal. They do not represent the interests of the U.S. at all. So why on earth were they elected? Almost every single representative with a Hispanic surname is for the rights of Hispaniocs and no one else. Perfect examples are Alberto Gonzales, and Mayor Villaraigosa.
