Thread: Zero Tolerance For New Orleans Gangs

There is NO EXCUSE for this. Gangs shooting at police and rescue helicopters. Come on

I just heard that there sending an additional 30,000 National Guardsmen down that way.

So far, as of this afternoon, I don't think zero tolerance is meaning anything to these gangs. It's going to take more than this verbal warning.

Where is the Coast Guard in all of this? They are after all water cops, at the Federal level. Their absence is conspicious. Maybe they are there, I know they possess many shallow draft vessels, maybe they should hussle some down there.

You hear of snipers on the roofs in New Orleans, how do we fight this? With snipers in choppers of course. They low lifes don't deserve anything less.

I've heard alot of officals saying that shooting of looters is out of the question. To some extent I agree... I believe that most are just taking what they need... i.e food and water. No problem there.

However there are some that have taken to arming themselfs, there been reports of these thugs attacking hospitals trying to get drugs. Stealing computers, and other electronics anything they can grap and run with.
These people need to be treated different.
I would have no problem with the shooting of any thugs shooting at emergency workers, the NAACP might but I don't see the revs condeming these thugs for attacking the rescue workers.

not only are the street gangs shooting at people, they're raping teenage girls!!

drug gangs are dangerous in normal times, but to be without drugs going through withdrawal under these circumstances makes them even more dangerous. I wonder if any of these are MS-13 ...

I have heard reports of younger than that at the superdome. The people are pulling these rapists off their victims and taking justice into their own hands. I won’t say what they have done, but they will never rape anyone again.

I hadn't heard that, but I can just imagine!

Several years back a black guy raped a black teenage girl, her uncles, cousins and others had him cornered and some were armed with ball bats and they weren't planning on giving him any mercy either ... by the time the cops got there, he was begging them to arrest him,
