Republicans to Teaparty: SORRY, WE WILL LOOSE THIS YEAR!
Micheal Steele, so called Chairman of the RNC, came out and said the Republicans cannot WIN this November.
I take this as a SLAP IN THE FACE TO THE PALIN, REFORM CROWD!
The NEO-CONS still control the party and are sacrificing it for the sake of POWER.
This is the most amazing story out this year so far! They are not going to allow the 'TeaParty', 9/12 Glenn Beck crowd to have ANY POWER!
You should be pissed, and we need to hit them on this AFTER AMNESTY!
Illegal Aliens have MORE POLITICAL POWER THAN THE BASE OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY! The RNC could CARE LESS, as its WAR.TRADE agenda is right on track.
Screw the American Worker, Screw the BASE, we could care less, we still run the country.
Oh, MAN, this is a major smackdown!

Steele: I'd join the tea parties
By ANDY BARR | 1/5/10 5:31 PM EST
Michael Steele said Tuesday that if he was not chairman of the Republican National Committee, he’d be a tea party protester.
“As I like to tell people — long before there was this big push on tea parties — if I wasn't doing this job, I'd be out there with the tea partiers,â€

Find out who your Constitutional candidates are in your area, and start campaigning for them. If the RNC is going to lay down and give in, then go elsewhere. Don't get mad, get even, as my grams used to say.

Steele backs off claim that GOP can't win back the House
By Michael O'Brien - 01/05/10 06:27 PM ET
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele backed off his suggestion on Tuesday that Republicans can't win back control of Congress this fall.
"I gave, I think, an honest analysis of the situation," Steele said during an interview on MSNBC. "I agree with the NRCC and the NRSC and others around in the party who believe that we have real shots this November, and I'm playing to win as well."
When asked Steele during an interview on Fox News on Monday whether the GOP could take back Congress, the party chairman conceded, "Not this year."
That gaffe ignited some dyspepsia among Republicans, who have been hopeful of their chances in the 2010 midterm elections, and have cashed in on a sense of momentum heading into the election year.
"Yes, we can," Steele said on Tuesday when pressed on whether the GOP will win back the House, before adding: "I think we can."

Republican Party is shattered, pretty much dead. There is no more Democratic Party, it is now the Socialist Party. The last remnants of what is left of our republic are being swepted away by Socialist meglomaniacs with their nightmarish vision of what America should be. There is no better time for a 3rd party to rise to power. I have my doubts about the Tea Party, not just because of Dick Armey but because it is unorganized and fragmented with alot of infighting going on. If they can organize fast enough then maybe, but i don't see that happening.

Most elections are local even if they gather much attention. Only one election is national.
If the Tea Party ever emerges with national leadership, that will be it's demise. Where there is one leader, or a leadership, there is a target to go after. If it remains fragmented to the local or regional levels, many targets are harder to kill. Loose and moving with a general agenda to change the corupt system would remain strong and viable. JMO
