Illegal next door
Here's a good question.
Very close friends of mine have an illegal alien living next door to them. This guy has been raided by the police, and immigration, and yet he's still there. According to my friends, the guy has over a dozen social security cards he uses, and not only does he own the home nextdoor, he owns 2 or 3 others, all bought with cash.
My friends fear for their daughter to the point, that my friends have worked out there schedule so that one of them is always there with their daughter. It meant the wife taking a lower paying job to do so, which has had a financial effect on their lifestyle which is not for the better, and the husband works two jobs to cover what mrs lost from taking a paycut.
Evertime they call the authorities, they are told to leave it be as the authorities are impotent to do anything. What is unnerving is, that my friends are struggling, and this illegal is thriving since he doesn't have to play by the rules.
What if any choices do they have?
Does anyone have any ideas they could try to get this taken care of?

Hylander, if what you say is fact then something is wrong. Personally, I would tell your friend that if he is sure of his facts that perhaps a lawyer could give some guidance. False or stolen ID could be one of the weapons he could use. Maybe my idea is way out there but who knows?

Call the IRS and tell them he owns 3 homes, did he pay his taxes? They WILL find out and be onto him like a tick on a dog.

The Colorado State Patrol’s Immigration Enforcement Unit (IEU) was created on July 1, 2006 as a result of the passage of Senate Bill 225. The new legislation mandated the Chief of the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) to create a division within the Patrol to address the issues of human smuggling and human trafficking on Colorado’s Highways; both of which were made felony offenses at the State level with the passage of Senate Bills 206 and 207. The Immigration Enforcement Unit is dedicated to helping the Patrol obtain these goals and objectives.Work Harder Millions on Welfare Depend on You!
