Bilingual Ballots
The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was amended in 1975 to provide voting assistance to certain "language minorities" that Congress felt had been excluded from the electoral process because of "unequal educational opportunities." Originally intended as a temporary measure, the scope of the law has ballooned as a result of the unprecedented influx of non-English speaking immigrants in recent years.

Latest Update: Congress reauthorized bilingual ballots. (vote results are included.)

Unfortunately, President Bill Clinton made expanded this into other areas by signing Executive Order 13166, which requires that a broad variety of things provided by the government be translated at taxpayer expense into a large variety of foreign languages.
ProEnglish is a citizen's activist group which works to repeal foreign language ballot requirements, E.O. 13166, and to pass legislation making English the official language of the United States.

As far as voting goes, there was a story I saw the other day that said illegals leaving AZ are going to Washington State so they can get drivers licenses and of course "vote". Another issue is to separate the drivers license and voting registration. Just because you get a drivers license should NOT automatically register you to vote. Check the citizenship status separately and verify other documents like a valid birth certificate!Detect, Detain, and Deport - The 3-D method of choice!!

These are the rules. The exemptions for the English requirement are listed at the bottom. Most of the undocumented Democrats that are voting are not over 50, most do not have amental impairement.

The Right to Vote
One of the most important privileges of democracy in the United States of America is the right to participate in choosing elected officials through voting in elections. There are many different types of elections in the United States, such as federal elections, state elections or local elections. Only U.S. citizens can vote in federal elections. Registering to vote or voting in a federal election is a crime if you are not a U.S. citizen. Non-U.S. citizens, including permanent residents (green card holders), who vote, or register to vote, in a federal election also can be denied naturalization and/or removed (deported) from the United States.
There are very few jurisdictions where a non-U.S. citizen may vote in a local election. However, this web site does not provide information regarding voting qualifications for state and local elections. You can obtain information regarding voting qualifications in local elections from your local voting authority. It is important to remember that even if you are allowed to vote in a local election, you are not eligible to vote in a federal election if you are not a U.S. citizen, nor in any other election that requires you to be a U.S. citizen.
The Naturalization Test
[b]One of the requirements for U.S. citizenship through naturalization is to take the naturalization test to demonstrate that you are able to read, write, and speak basic English and that you have a basic knowledge of U.S. history and government (also known as “civicsâ€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
