quote(The fundamental question for the American public and policy makers is whether a much larger population and the resulting greater population density will add to or diminish the quality of life in the United States. Immigration is a discretionary policy of the government and can be changed. These projections show us one possible future. We must decide as a country if this is the future we want.)quote

No question at all, increased population of under educated seeking benefits and requiring government assistance from birth to death is a death sentence for America. No country can survive uncontrolled immigration due to finical burden but also they simply will not assimilate in large numbers.
I've personally seen the changes brought on by large increases in population, born in the 40's I've witnessed the drastic changes in our society while some good points in medical and technology the down side has been crime, decrease in morals, values and common sense. Do I blame all this on immigration,no however it does contribute to the problem and I believe will certainly increase the liberal vote as they have moved into public education and media we having a growing socialist/communist society, when adults move from one country to another they bring there beliefs along and without peer or government pressure to change those beliefs remain.
