communism has been around for a long time. Nothing new - no surprise. If you'd look towards history, as I mentioned earlier - or read CrocketsGhost, you'd have realized that we've been battling this since around the League of Nations time.

The Dubai ports deal was a part of this. Now letting our airlines be controlled by foreign governments and businesses is another part of the death of the US as a world power and a self-governing nation. This is the corporatization of our nation by multi-national business whose only patriotism is their bank accounts and power.

Dubai is still in control of the ports as the contracts have NOT been sold.
Wonder why Rep. Peter King has let this info slip by after spearheading the original hoopla?

I think the flap over the port deal was just that a 'flap'. A chance for some congresscritters to appear to be tough - yet they really do nothing.

Also, the same concern was allowed to purchase a company here in America that manufacturers some parts for our military equipment.

Is it communism? Possibly. Yes, it has been around for a very long time - that doesn't mean the communist are not involved in this. I think perhaps that communism is being used. The situation that seems to be coming into being has been something that has been active for a very long time, and they use everything they can.

The middle class of yesterday were probably not so easily manipulated - but the middle class of today are really another breed of person. Their status was not as hard to achieve as it was for past generations. Therefore, it is true they are easier to manipulate.

It really should come as no surprise to anyone what Pres. Bush intended to do. He announced it very early on after being elected. It was about the same time as his announced intention to give amnesty. People were just so hopped up on 'preganant chads' or 'our guy/your guy', 'red state/blue state' and were not listening to what he was saying or was not watching what he was doing.

Then came 9/11 and somehow even those who saw this man in a negative light suddenly thought he was the savior of the universe. Anyone who voiced anything against him was labelled a traitor, not supportive of the troops, a terrrorist. These are strategies straight out of the handbook on controlling the masses.
