LOL.....I guess what they had planned isn't a mystery anymore

Well, looking on the bright side........at least THIS time the man was able to speak, people had an opportunity for honest and open discussion, and the protestors who showed that they couldn't behave like civilized human beings WERE arrested.

Now, if they could just invite Tom T back and afford him the same opportunity and respect, that would be great!

Make sure you take the poll on the video page:

What did you think of the protest at Tancredo's speech?

It was justified/appropriate, and I agree with all the protestors' actions
It was justified/appropriate, but ultimately got out of hand
It was not justified / It shouldn't have happened
    Other
    I don't know

UNC Students Protest But Conservative Speaker Gets To Give His Speech

    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
Just one week after a conservative speaker’s remarks were cut short because of protestors, UNC Chapel Hill welcomed another controversial speaker.

Former six term Virginia Congressman Virgil Goode was the guest speaker at a lecture sponsored by youth for western civilization.

The protests began early starting with a bit of street theatre by a group of mock cheerleaders. They showed up outside the auditorium where Goode was to speak, and did an obscenity laced cheer inviting him to leave campus.

Before the event began, the president Youth for Western Civilization expressed hope that Goode’s speech wouldn’t be disrupted in the same way that Former Congressman Tom Tancredo’s speech was truncated.

“Considering the crowd, I think it should be relatively peaceful,â€

While talking about Perez Hilton and Miss America, Michele Malkin also mentioned this event in her column. Here is the section and link.

$%^&*!!: Civility and tolerance in the Age of Obama
    By Michelle Malkin • April 22, 2009 09:55 AM

My syndicated column today looks at the outbreak of Obama-esque discourse across the country. Couldn’t even mention some of the misogynist sleaze prompted by the Tea Party movement because newspapers wouln’t print it. And they call us an “unhinged mob?â€

They gave you no choice last time but you still have done nothing about that Chancellor Thorp. No doubt though, the six they arrested were also involved last in the last incident.
