I just thought you guys would find this interesting:

I work as a MP on a Military Base. We regularly catch about 3-4 illegals per week attempting to gain entry to the Post.
(they usually come in with a contractor because they work for cheap)

At any rate, we would simply call ICE and detain them until they arrived. 95% of the time, they would show up within an hour and haul them off.

Well, in the last 2-3 months it seems ICE could care less. They either don't bother to call us back, or tell us to just let them go!

I personally find this to be insane! We catch them red handed, fake ID's and all. We just let them go and tell them not to return.

That so sucks! What in the hell is wrong with ICE? Ilegal aliens trying to sneak onto our military bases and no one cares?

I would arrest them under military law for spying, send them to the brig, and then try them in a military court. Can you do that?

You have a brig down there don't you?! I would not release them. Why would ICE tell you to release them??!! This makes no sense at all!

Wake Up America! We are being sold down river faster than we can count the ways.

Good Grief! Foreign nationals in our country illegally sneaking onto our military bases and no one in ICE cares??!! This IS the shocker of the day. You need to tell Jeff Sessions about this. Here is his information:

I wish we could detain them, but there is this little thing called "posse comitatus".

It basically says the military has no jurisdiction over civilians. (except under Martial Law)

They are not considered spies, as they are only attempting to gain access through their employers.

If we are able to get through to ICE, they run them to verify that they are not on a terrorist watch list. So far, we haven't got any terrorists. I assume they would come get them if that was the case, but these days I'm not positive...

Most of them are Central Americans and either have fake or expired ID's.

It's very frusterating to allow them to slip through, but it's not our call.

I am also sure it has nothing do do with ICE itself. They are only following orders.

Why isn't the military base calling local police to handle these illegals? These illegals need to be processed into the 287g Program in the least. I cannot believe the nerve of President Obama administration.

We would call the local PD if they had a warrant, had drugs or weapons and then they would get arrested.

As far as simply being illegals, it is completely up to ICE to deal with it.

Our local PD would show up and call ICE themselves, essentially resulting in the same outcome.

Our hands are tied and it pisses all of us off!

So these contractors are hiring illegals to work at our government facilities.

And did the MPs and local Police check status via 287g Program or other system before releasing these illegals.

You do know that since 1986 we have been lied to by our government governing the I-9s of immigrants. No has checked the I-9s for anything.

Currently local Unemployment Offices per state are send illegals to jobs without E-Verifying them. I found this out six months ago.

I do not believe in CIR (comprehensive immigration reform).

It is a felony for illegals to have a gun.
