You sound so tired--things must be getting really bad where you are. I can only imagine.

You are absolutely right--it will take citizen grassroot organizing. Ever since the defeat of the amnesty thing, I have felt more optimistic, knowing that we can make a difference.

I sorta am... that is why I am supporting Ron Paul. I started really reading and watching videos on the issues that are coming up in America or more apt, coming to light. From the NAU, to the Shamnesty and how they tried to push it thru, how the borders have been left pretty much wide open -- yet we were suppose to get 'tough' on it and secure it, yet its more porous now than it ever was... and now chertoff saying "I have a gut feeling something is gonna happen..." Its just alll sorta orwellian and not good.

There are big agendas going on, and illegal immigration is one of them.... its part of the puzzle that is being put together.... and as a citizen, I do not want to be complacent anymore...

"IHOP" did buy "Applebees". One is right up the street from me, and I doubt their "busboys/girls" are legal even at Applebees. They can't speak English and hide their faces when you try to speak to them. Also they run to the back and remain there until you leave. Another place that is going downhill is "Bob Evans".

Interesting...our local IHOP does NOT have a bilingual menu, and all waitresses are Americans. Can't say for the busboys and kitchen staff though...
