18 year old arrested by ICE
This story was on Msnbc, and I cannot find anything online about itn but I'll give what I can remember seeing. This 18 year old in Ohio (?) who has been here since he was 11, brought to the US by his step-grandfather. He went to the ICE office as he understood that at 18 he needed to get things going for himself to become a citizen. He did this willingly and was subsequently arrested and detained at ICE through Christmas. This young man was trying to do the right thing, yet ICE arrested him and is threatening with deportation to Germany.
His name is Manuel Botsch and his attorney by the last name of Leopold (Daniel?).
Now wheres the justice in this? When we have millions of illegals, here as adults, blatantly broke our immigration laws, and this young man trying to make sure he was within the law, gets arrested and detained, and threatened with deportation, while millions of illegals are stopped by police and never detained.
Anyone that can find this full story on the MSNBC site, it would be great to have a link."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. the problem is with illegal immigration is everyone has a story - has connections has reasons to be here or to stay-- so, we either let everyone stay cause they are nice and hardworking or we deport-
Germany is considered a nice country to live in- it's not like he's being sent back to a destitute african nation-

They said he can reapply after he is sent back, so I am glad to hear that, and yes Germany is a nice place. My point is that we have all these illegal Mexicans, they do not assimilate like this kid has already, they tend towards segregation of themselves from the American community, and have brought with them a propensity towards crime (due to the social climate in Mexico?). Furthermore what we all ought to be worried about is if ICE will enforce deportation on this lone 18 year old, then they better start doing it to ALL the illegals everywhere in this country, not just isolated cases to make us think they are doing their jobs.
I live in apartment complex full of them and we would not miss them as much as I might miss this kid, if I knew him. Granted nice or not, young or not the laws need to be enforced, but unilaterally. His lawyer would have a good argument if he were to bring up the fact that so many illegal Mexicans and others have never been sent back, and they were not trying to get the situation legal like this kid was, thats what stood out to me."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot." I am sure he is nice . butttttttttttttt we have to be consistent, if he is here illegally, then the rules must apply to all, or else the race card will be appropriate-
also, this is what I call a Johann and Ingrid story - very much like the Poor Pedro and maria stories we are force fed by the media.
note, that when an illegal does something really vile their immigration status is usally hidden-
but, if they are hardworking and wear clean underwear - our heart strings are yanked-
So don't let the media yank you- around-
Johann Und Ingrid sind sehr wunderbar ! Jah, Johann es no Dumkoff! Deportation zu Deutschland es zehr schlect !

Its a lot easier when they turn themselves in than when you have to go out and catch them.
