Judge Nap: What's Obama's Motivation for Failing to Enforce Immigration Laws?

Judge Andrew Napolitano weighed in this morning on the controversy surrounding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which released murderers, drunk drivers and sex crime convicts in 2013.
Of the illegal immigrants released, more than 100 were convicted of murder, 2,700 of assault, and 1,300 of domestic violence. About 15,000 were convicted of drunk driving, and 9,000 were found to be driving under the influence of drugs.
According to the Washington Times, “the agency was required to release immigrants because of court decisions, including a 2001 Supreme Court ruling that found immigrants whose home countries refused to take them back could not be held for more than six months.”
Brian Kilmeade asked what's behind ICE's decision to release all of these convicted criminals. Napolitano said the president has "exercised his discretion" to keep these convicted criminals free while they await deportation.
"Do you think they're gonna show up for the deportation? The president's got a hang-up with immigration laws and I don't know what his motivation is unless he wants these people to vote for the Democrats," said Napolitano, explaining that President Obama is "effectively changing the law" instead of enforcing it.
Napolitano argued that the deportation procedure is not a retrial and should be a very quick process.
Watch the judge's full analysis above.
